We're not even sure which came from which , remember the native american culture along with most of its secrets has been completely wiped out and decimated from the face of the earth so theres no real way to know , the christian man did an excelent job.

For those who wondering what they are singing about: The lyrics roughly goes like: There is the endless gobi, and there are saxauls, not only gems but also keeps the gobi warm. Somewhere there lives and sings my mother, she is a camel herder, the horde is prospered by her. I believe this song is the soundtrack of the documentary film "the weeping camel", in which a mother camel shunned it's baby camel (which really happens sometimes), and the baby camel wails. The herders then plays a ritual music with a Mongolian musical instrument named "horse headed fiddle" to the mother camel. The camel whines (this really happens too!) and accepts it's baby, as you can see in the video. How the music touches and why the camel reacts to it like that is unknown (to me). There you have it, now you can understand the music a little bit better i hope. If you wonder, why it sings that the mother lives "somewhere", the gobi is one of the harshest landscapes on earth, people who live there must move from one location to another depending on the season. The mother lives in the gobi and the kids apparently live somewhere else and memorizing their mother's lifestyle in their song.

@Сергей Козин я живу в степи и родилась тут, но вот в Монголии испытала полный восторг от свободы и прямо летала. Вроде бы ребенок, ему везде хорошо бегать и ограничений от взрослых в Монголии было больше, но вот... Всегда считала и считаю Монголию - второй родиной.

Кто жил в детстве в Монголии, тот не забудет никогда. Я так благодарна судьбе, что она позволяет мне сейчас возвращаться в страну детства и да! Тот упоительный воздух свободы дети почему-то остро ощущали. 👍 Я тоже, с первого дня ощутила эту свободу, при чем она не касалась нашей жизни, все же ограничения были для спецов и семей, но свобода была разлита в воздухе. Это запоминается навсегда. Хотя, Я была ещё тот сорванец и у себя на родине носилась по лесам и полям, никто не мог удержать, но вот чувство свободы какой-то особой, полной ( не лично для себя) было только в Монголии. Привет детям выросшим в Монголии!

Огромное спасибо! Музыка прекрасна, как монгольская земля. Мне посчастливилось провести детские годы в Монголии, восторг и вдохновения испытанные ребенком долгие годы звали меня в страну детства. И наконец, в начале 2000-х мне удалось снова посетить Монголию. Теперь я хотя бы раз в год приезжаю сюда. Я люблю в этой стране все и природу разнообразную и богатую видами и ландшафтами, и людей, таких простых, душевных и гостеприимных. В этой музыки вся душа Монголии. Спасибо - баярлалаа и надеюсь до скорых встреч.

Mongol features are much like Pueblo and Navajo people of New Mexico, USA. The music couldn't be less different. Navajo live in 8 sided hogan and herd sheep in the desert. Very mesmerizing music

Indigenous people in the Americas decendents from Asian tribes, so yeah, they share many physical features for historical reasons! There is even a skin mark called "Mongolian spot" that 90% of Asian babies have when they are newborns, and also indigenous babies in America have.

Woe is me!- In that I neglected (my duty) towards Allah, and was but among those who mocked أَوْ تَقُولَ لَوْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ هَدَانِي لَكُنتُ مِنَ الْمُتَّقِينَ "Or (lest) it should say: 'If only Allah had guided me, I should certainly have been among the righteous Quran .islam---////////
