@Lermasd The song name is Basstronics - Bass I love you. Monitor Audio RS/RX 8 is the best HiFi speaker you can get to that price. They have clean sound with the right amount of bass. They are not party speakers, and don't play party music as good as Cerwin Vega. But if you are interested in good sound quality to the price, these are the best. But they need a good amplifier aswell.

I also bought for my living room right now Monitor Audio RX8 (Front); RXCLR (center) RXFX (Back), and Amplifier i went for Pioneer Susano SC-LX90... Didn't heard yet, i bought it because i buy my electronics there and the owner of the store is my friend and told me for my living room it will be superb, since we are talking about a 15m2 where the TV is...

@mheaney Behind the speaker, you'll find the speaker cables terminals. There are two pairs of them. One for the top drivers and one for the bass drivers. There are two items in metal that shall be conected between the two terminals. So you they are linked and you only need one pair of speaker cables to the speakers. If the link between the two terminals is gone, then you will have that problem. Not sure if this is the problem you are having, but it is a typical problem. Just check it out :)

damn I envy you lol. The RS8's are like my dream speakers. Even on youtube you can tell how crisp and clear the highs are and how tight the bass is.

Yeah, they are amazing good speakers. Tested them on a much better equipment and it sounded nearly as well as the speakers that costs 5 times the price of these!

@thammer62 The Denon is got light sound, and the speakers as well. So to balance it I bought a Abrahamsen V2.0 ampilfier which got darker sound. And the Abrahamsen is a level higher up in quality also =)

Speakers long gone through the ebay process now and probably screeching the ears of someone as we speak. Bright bright and more bright

@MrMachineoperator Hehe, it's in the title :P Bass I love you - Bassotronics. RX-6 sounds great :P Hope you got a good ampilfier on them. My Denon doesn't match them so well, so I have bought a new one.

@rysior I have been thinking about the same. But it doesn't sound like it making bass. Maybe it is because of the two other bass units it just follows the air presure?

Strange. I tought RS8 is 3-way speaker but mid tone is shakeing bass as well. Is it 2,5 way?

@Soundlikeme You can just link the 2 terminals together with normal cables, same type and length. If that's the case :-) If it doesn't work, I bet that your woofers are dead :/

the reason you cant hear bass is probably because the camera cant pick it up and this is the wrong song for these speakers as it has lower frequency for subs which these cant pick up on

Omg, these speakers are so damn nice :) Thinking about getting them aswell but don´t know how well they´ll perform in my small flat.. Got Dali Lektor 3, check my vid on them and tell me if u think these can fit there instead :)
