Thanks you for your analytic opinion about two different speakers. And what do you think about transient response characteristics of M/A and Dynaudio?

@@wineaudio2004 In terms of transient response, I would say again the Dynaudio's drivers especially the bass are more agile even though as I understand it is a long-throw design, still it comes across as better controlled than the MA. This could be the new Esotec+ woofer at work. The midrange driver is also working wonderfully. When you listen to the Beatles' acoustic guitar piece, on the Evoke you can actually feel the tension on the guitar strings when the player plucks them. It kind of reminds me of a Korean guitar player Ahn Jung Jae when he plays Michael Jackson's "Love Never Felt So Good" with his amazing finger style. All in all, I would say the MA has a more relaxing presentation to the music as compared to the Dynaudio's more upbeat take on the same material. When you listen to Yerin Baek's "Our love is great", on the MA you kind of just want to chill with the song, but on the Evoke I find myself bobbing my head and really getting into the track which if I am not wrong was a big hit in Korea. Going back to the subject of "transient response", when it comes down to it, the Dynaudio just has a better grip of the music, every note starts and stops pretty much where they are supposed to. They don't hang around with a longer decay like in some cases on the MA which may seem a tad lazy at times, thus its more relaxing nature. I am not sure about the situation in Korea, but the Evoke 50 seems to be selling very well. I follow a website called HiFiShark.com which basically gathers all the postings of hi-fi gear on sale online from around the world. I have been keeping taps on the Evoke 50 and the moment a reasonably priced offer comes out, it is snapped up almost immediately especially if is in gloss black. Initially, I was thinking about the Special 40 as so many people have been singing praises on it, now I am not so sure. What do you think about the Special 40 vs the Evoke 50?

Good question. If the prices of the two models are similar, it would be a better choice to choose a high-end standmount. Platinum pl100 ii.

You should pay attention to the acoustics of the PMC. PMC Twenty.22, PMC Twenty.24 or PMC Twenty.26. This is a top-end Hi-End acoustics.

Clearly shows through the You Tube compression LOL😅. The NAD C388 is rated the same at 4 ohms as the AS2100, and the Gold 300s are 90db sensitive speakers, the NAD in this video will not be struggling. I own the Gold 300s with a yamaha AS3200. I find the comments in this video are hilarious, everyone thinks they can analyze the sound from KZfaq.

Fully agree, with MA it feels like the singer is in a room, while with Dyns it still sounds like a record.
