That she is not being swapped for a baby monkey, because people falls in love with babies more than adults. BUT, they (humans) miss the fact that people do NOT respect people who does that, actually long term they will get more subscribers and more views by having an adult macaque!!! Especially since there is more and more attention to what people do with (and to) many of these poor baby monkeys (steal them from their mommies, pretending to find and «rescue» them)!!!

Mom is blessed to be a stay at home mom. Also, Kaka has brought the family lots of money and continues to do so. It's financially advantageous for them to continue the monkey narrative. But Kaka herself since infancy showed so much love and care and kindness towards Diem. She's been so protective of Diem, too. Credit goes to Kaka, too. Love and kindness are in her DNA. She's always had motherly instincts, even as a baby herself! Props to the parents as they've done a good job, too! Love Kaka, and the baby monkey is so cute!❤❤❤❤

Diem really can be way to obnoxious~ I had to stop watching for long time till Diem got older and I didn't see hardly any abuse by diem like before... since she got older she can still be a brat from time to time but thete is def.a differance...for sure if i see diem actin that way or mom letin dm and blaming kaka or bein unfair i shut it off...but like i said since Dm got older and can actually talk and stuff I see a good differance

No, this is a business decision. They have a very succesfull You Tube channel and they cannot afford Kaka escaping every time and Diem has to go to school. So they try to keep Kaka busy. If she leaves anyway, then there is a replacement. Kaka is interested in the baby, but she is not like a mother to the baby. So they try to teach her that. I hope this will make everyone happy for as long as this will last. You see that the baby tries to cling to mom and dad, not to Kaka.

​@user-cr6lx4in6r It shows the new monkey has been with humans before. That's why it clings to dad or mom. She isn't a newborn. Her fur on the back is already darkening. When stumptails are just born, their fur is almost white, not to mention that she can walk and run steadily.
