They do release them at around 7 or 8 months...into their " natural environment"... It's the cruelest thing you will ever see. There are KZfaq channels that video this abuse first hand. The monkeys are domesticated at birth. All they know is diapers ...food....blankets ..ect. .. now they are dumped ... abandoned...and left in danger of starvation ...weather ...and wild animal attacks....even abuse from other monkeys. The worst of it is not seeing their owner "caretaker"again Because they are dumped in the forest. It's sooo mean. These babies have real feelings and need to be cuddled. This whole situation is horrible.
