It’s a different culture there. What we do here in the United States or other countries shouldn’t be used to measure how they live. From what I’ve seen, it’s very common for all ppl to sit in a circle & share a common plate/bowl of all the food where each person will have their own smaller bowl w/ rice, & will eat from the common shared dish the rest of the meal. As far as a table or something to sit on, I don’t recall Grandma having one @ her last house (might be wrong). It seems the furniture in Grandmas old house belongs to the landlord who moved back in recently. It’s been mentioned in that ladies videos & in Grandmas that Grandma still has belongings @ the old house…so it might be helpful if this man would help Grandma & Bong bring her belongings to the new house. I would guess that some would be the cooking utensils, etc u mentioned. I, too, wish someone would help Grandma get her belongings. The landlord lady comes over often….why doesn’t she bring over some things each visit?? As I’d mentioned earlier, their culture is very different & we don’t know proper protocol on asking for help. Sorry so long….but I hope Grandma can get her belongings, too, as it will be less stressful for Grandma 🥰💕.
