Capuchin monkeys are trained to assist severely paralyzed people. Treated with loving care they make excellent animal companions.
@mariehines11022 жыл бұрын
That was Helping Hands from Boston that trained capuchins to help handicap people. It was a success, until P.E.T.A and other animal rights groups kept attacking them saying it was abuse towards the monkeys. They finally stopped. Now they have several hundred capuchin monkeys living in an institution like setting for the rest of their lives. The older one they have is 48 yrs old. With nothing to do because of some over the top animal rights idiots.
@Inflec2 жыл бұрын
@@mariehines1102 - It figures those outfits would be behind all that. Of all species of monkeys the capuchins seem to the most amenable to living with people. I wonder if they follow Y-T channels like monkeyboo where a fellow has two or three capuchins and they do seem to be a happy family. (But I don't disagree that owning any monkey is a lot of work.) Still, if it can be done successfully, these twerps should stop tampering with success. There are certainly bigger fish to fry regarding animal welfare.
