I work for a One of the top music streaming platform in Africa (Boomplay) and he was 100% right about the music industry. I listen to 100% new songs everyday and I can tell you that most Zim so-called artist lacks originality compared to other African countries.

Mr Mono, thank you for being so grounded and full of wisdom. I pray more people will listen to this podcast. I will also pray for you, you acknowledge God but you have let ‘church goers’ separate you from God’s love. Just remember Jesus didn’t have a church and only spoke of repentance and Gods love for us. I pray you will pick up your bible and continue your walk with God. It’s a one to one relationship, do not allow the world to separate you from Christ. Stay blessed 🙏🏾

Interesting conversation. Mokoomba, Vusa are good examples of exporting originality. It’s really sad turning every sound into Nija or SAn. There remains a huge opportunity in experimenting with the Chimurenga melody; mbira and marimba, mbaqanga, afro jazz etc
