Luise, I had to pause your video because a phrase you say came to my mind. You just got done describing the photo and the very special meaning behind it all (it's wonderful! And I love that you made your KZfaq name after your grandparents!). You started apologizing and your phrase "Don't freak your freak" came to my mind. So this is me, saying it back to you... "Luise, don't freak your freak. This is a precious moment and you do not need to apologize for it at all!" Your story is inspiring. Thank you for sharing.

We are your junk journal sista’s and these special moments are very emotional for me as well. When you cry, I cry. When you laugh, I laugh. Each of us are right next to you when we watch your videos. Luis’s I loved hearing the story of your grandparents. I usually work while I’m listening to the KZfaq makers and occasionally look up at the video. You made me stop in my tracks, watch and listen to your beautiful memories of your Oma and Opa. Never be afraid to share. We are listening and enjoying it all. Also it was not by accident that you picked out that photo without looking. They are watching too and I think they love that you named your business after them 🥰

You absolutely have NOT bothered me... and no apologies are necessary... none. I love hearing the story of your grandparents, your Birthdays, and where your Luise Heinzl name came from. I find your 'story' touching and it warms my heart. I had to laugh too about the 'vomit' dish... I have made dishes like that before, and I always laugh because it's amazing how something can look sooooo bad, and yet... taste sooooo good. LOL. I'm so glad you left these memories and your story-tellling in. Heart-felt Prayers going up and friendly hugs from me to you, Luise.

Luise, I continue to be impressed with your honesty and transparency. What you share (creatively and personally) with the community of people who follow you is quite amazing. I am highly irritated and annoyed with the critical people who comment on your use of English words. I say to those people, “if you can’t say something nice, you shouldn’t say anything at all. If you don’t think she uses words properly, move on.” Finally, your page in this video turned out just gorgeous! I was cringing as you continued to add more stamping, but wow did it all come together! The colors and elements all pop off the page!

I love how your creative mind works! Many times I sit and agonize over one page for hours! And then something pops into my head and I’m able to create something I’m proud of ! It’s always a journey…that’s what makes creating so much fun! Thank you for sharing your stories with your grandparents …so special you have those memories. That’s what makes you such a compassionate and caring person…

❤❤❤Dear Luise, there are no coincidences. Happenstance is a nice word, but I feel that this is more significant...it's synchronicity instead. To me, pulling out that particular photo with all the special meanings, a celebration of your birthday 2 days after your birthday, that was NOT an accident. It reminds me of when you were sitting under a tree (maybe in Rome?) and wished you had some bark from that beautiful tree and a piece of bark immediately landed right in your lap. I believe...no, I KNOW, there is more to life than what we can see. Your grandparents have wished you happy birthday and brought tears to your eyes through your love for them, but also brought joy and laughter to your heart with your lentil salad story. ❤❤❤

I was celebrating my birthday month with you, & eating Reese's peanut butter cups. I also have a special love for my grandmother who passed when I was 18, ( I will be 64 this week) & she appears in my dreams more & more...I was crying right along with you dear. Sadly, I have no pictures as I was the black sheep of the family, except for her. I love how authentic, & humble you are, & everyone knows that English is not your 1st language so those Nancy's need to stop! We know what you are saying, & that should be enough. Love your new digitals, & today's spread. Happy Valentines day, & always TY for sharing your heart & creative process. xo

Your new printables are beautiful! Thank you for sharing your stories and feelings about your family. My family and the memories I have are my most precious treasures. Cry all you want, you have a tender heart and loving family memories. That's why all of my junk journals are also memory keeping journals. They make me smile and so do you! P.S. I save my brown See's candy wrappers and use them in my journals! Today you ate my late mom's favorite. It's called a Bordeaux. The papers are used to wrap boxes of candy. Red usually at Christmas and the black and white the rest of the year. What makes See's so yummy is that they use Guittard Gourmet Chocolate made in San Francisco starting in the mid 1800s.

Beautiful page layout. I love the new alcohol ink designs, and how you used them in your journal. I very much enjoyed this video, and I'm loving that you are not confining yourself to one specific style, but are exploring many different styles of junk journaling. It really makes you accessible to a wide variety of artists rather than just those who share one particular style with you. I'm growing along with you, and loving it!!! Thank you for just being your real self. It creates a strong bond, and encourages all of us to do the same. Blessings! 🎉

Fantastic new printables. It was nice to see your grandparents again and to share your memories. I too have wonderful memories of my grandparents too. Please don’t worry so much about your English. I think you do an awesome job with it. So many of us would be missing out on your amazing ideas if you only made German videos (although I often watch them too without understanding much 😆). Just remember to treat yourself with kindness. Those of us who believe in you will always support you. Those who chose to criticise you are obviously not living their best lives. They can simply skip a video if it doesn’t suit. As my Grandmother used to say “if you cannot have something polite to offer in a conversation, then it is best you keep your thoughts to yourself and your mouth shut.” Keep being you, because you are fantastic!

WOW, WOW Luise, watched the Alcohol Ink video, MAGICAL. You are a total GENIUS, and I applaud you everytime I watch you. It was a L O N G video, but I never missed a second, the time just flew by!!!!! Thank you for adding a bit of magic to our lives, these days it is so hard to see beauty around us, but all I have to do is watch something you have done and I am transported into a beautiful world, filled with love , laughter and lots of magic. When you showed us the photo of your grandparents, I cried along with you. I also loved my Granny and Grandpa so very much and still after all these years, I still miss them and sometimes I ask myself "What would my Gran do", I firmly believe she is my Gaudian Angel and is always close to me. Never be ashamed to show your emotions, it show that you care deeply about what happened to you, good or bad, and that what makes you the unique, wonderful and amazing person you are. My grandparents were also born in Germany, Grandpa in what was Prussia (Frankfurt area now) and my Gran was born in Dresden. They came to South Africa seperatley with their families in 1915, just before the outbreak of the 1st world war, also, I am named after my Granny, something I share with you. ANYHOOOOO, my special friend, enough about me and my history, (I can carry on so!!!!), I just want to thank you for all you do for us, even when you are going through a rought and bad time, thank you for sharing with us and trusting us enough to be part of your life. Love you and your work, keep up the good work and for making us all feel special and just a little bit more able to try and do what we always thought was impossible. As always, I am sending you love,, Blessings and hugs from Cape Town, South Africa. Diana🤗🙄🐱🐱🦊🦊

First off, I loved hearing the stories surrounding your grandparents pictures and how you came up with your KZfaq name! Don’t apologize for being you, or sharing your stories! And oh my goodness you have done a fabulous job with your alcohol ink digitals. I’m stunned at the beautiful flowers you created! I’m definitely going to get your freebie and see if I can make that work and then consider getting your beautiful digitals. Thank you! And happy belated birthday!

Luise, I wanted to thank you for the freebees offered in this video. I have uploaded them to my computer today to use as my background pages so I can see the beautiful flower images many times every day while I am on my computer. Looking forward to springtime. Thanks!

I love watching you work, it's like being with a friend, and your pages are gorgeous, I can't wait to print them out. It was so sweet to hear about your grandparents; both of my grandfathers died before I was born but my grandmothers were adorable. I hope you can ignore the negative comments, some people just have to learn that the world doesn't revolve around them and they can go watch something else - it's their loss. As for the candy, I love orange and chocolate together! I probably wouldn't have thought to stamp on the pages you designed but it looks great and I love the way you tied in the green pages. When you said "this tape sucks" I laughed out loud!

Luise , I just noticed today that you do not have Ephy on your desk any more, that makes me so sad I want to cry, he still sits on my desk and on my shelf . You make me fall in love with him, and today I finished my journal of him, and he will not come down from my desk or shelf ever, he's my little partner in crafting. If I feel low or down, he picks me up. So thank you for bring him into my life.

The alcohol ink backgrounds are beautiful! Very gorgeous prints. And another bonus is the colour doesn’t fade, unlike with real alcohol inks, which is something that put me off creating with them.

Honestly I love these videos, it's nice to see the considerations and the struggles you have with creating and coming up with ideas. Just playing with materials and investigating ideas means a lot more to me than the polished KZfaq videos that I watch... I love these much more. You crying when it came to the photos of your grandparents brought a tear to my eye, much the same as when I think of mine ❤😊

Oh.. and as for your language, you do brilliantly! I only talk English and people will still correct me about my mistakes in grammar and so on. You may might slight mistakes.. yet I always understand what you mean to say, but to do two separate videos in English and German every time you excel yourself 😉

I think that you are coragoucourageous in so many ways. First in your art which you demonstrated several times in this video alone. And secondly that you are willing to narrate in a language that is not your mother tongue plus you have not lived in an English-speaking country. Please ignore the language critics. You are doing a wonderful job. We know what you are trying to say even if your word choice is not what a native speaker might use. It might sound wrong to our ears but the meaning is correct. Cheers Meg

Yes your first guess was correct. You ate a milk chocolate Bordeaux - my absolutely favorite Sees candy is the dark chocolate Bordeaux. My hubbies gets me a 1/2 lb of those every Christmas. And the papers were the sample wrapping papers and at Christmas time they offer free wrapping to hide your gifts. I just have adored this video! Loved seeing your grandparents.

Luise, I think you did a great job with these. But, the first cut you made (especially the one with the golden stamens) were gorgeous without adding more parts to them. Your paper is perfect for these dies. Thank you for this video.

From experience I have come to know people with brilliant minds sometimes become temporarily lost. When you are a creator, the frustration can hold you back even longer. This is when you step back, shake it off and then focus on something totally different from your natural vibe. You will come back to the table refreshed. I was a jewelry designer for many years. It is hard to keep coming up with pieces that were unique to my line. Eventually I realized I never took my own advise that I gave to my clients that felt that they needed to be "bejeweled" from head to toe. It becomes too overwhelming and no one will appreciate the single pieces for what they are. Step back, remove a piece and call it done. You are an exceptional artist! Shake off the comments from the "grammar police". And keep doing what you do! I have learned more from you than any other artist. You are special! ❤️

Dear Luise, I follow your channel since a few months ago. I love the artist you are, but more of that, I love the human you are. It's so touching to see how the essential of a human being is the same, no matter where you are from. I watch you from Argentina and English is not my mother language neither, and I'm very grateful I learnt it (even though I don't like it). Now, I'm desiring to learn German. You gave me lots of videos for practice, hahaha. I think you could use the quote "trust your crazy ideas" instead. Love the result.

You are a brave person for sharing as much as you do. Thank you. These flowers, by the way, are a departure from your usual style. Nicely done. Since you asked...you use the word 'relatively' relatively well! 😂 To ease your meaning and speech though, you could occasionally use the word 'somewhat' instead. So 'somewhat yellow' might work more easily. Adding '-ish' to a word modifies it too. So relatively 'yellow' works. Or 'somewhat yellow' or ' yellowish'. Each by itself is a good choice. 🦋
