Watched the interview, listened to the music, and am now a new fan!!! I am Ukrainian Canadian (my grandparents immigrated in 1901)... spoke Ukrainian as a child, forgot most of it, sadly...but will follow and support such a talented woman and excellent bandmates. BRAVO!! AWESOME MUSIC!! *my youngest daughter is Katharina (German dad) and we call her Katja too *smile*

Wow. I had no idea.. no idea at all. She is such an incredibly strong woman. Gone through so much, often on her own, but she kept pulling through, getting back up and forging the way towards a better future. Hearing she was not supposed to survive that surgery was a massive shock to me -- I can't believe we almost lost her. On top of that, I could never imagine being at a point in my life where I know that I might not have a tomorrow. The way she handled it, and how composed she was talking about it, I'm just absolutely blown away. Combined with all other struggles she faced.. I'm usually skeptical of people making claims like these, but when she said she fears nothing anymore, I believed her. Go_A has genuinely ignited my interest towards Ukrainian music and culture, and I have a lot to thank them for. On top of that, I have incredible respect for Kateryna; as an artist, with a very powerful and charismatic presence on stage; and as a person, who found her own strength, fought through whatever life threw her way and genuinely may be one of the most resilient souls I know of. I'm happy I found this video, and even happier I found this band. Putting your culture on display for all the world to judge is a very vulnerable thing to do, and Shum ending so high in the ranks was one of the most heartwarming things I've seen this year. With love from the Netherlands, may she and the rest of the band truly be happy, and may the future be bright. ♥

Честно вам скажу, я когда увидела Катю впервые по телевизору, она мне показалась какой-то холодной и замкнутой. Но посмотрев этот фильм я поняла, что это сильный, глубокий и прекрасный человек. Так интересно было слушать её, понять какими глазами она смотрит на окружающий мир. Это очень вдохновляющая личность. Wow, Kateryna is truly an amazing, gorgeous and smart woman! I'm not Ukrainian, but I studied Ukrainian language, literature and culture, and I'm completely obsessed with all Go_A's music now. It's a great way to refresh my knowledge of Ukrainian language and to learn more about Ukrainian folklore.

Loved Ukraine in Eurovision. Seeing this, damn, her life-story is harrowing, heartbreaking, inspirational. I can barely imagine what she has been through. What a wonderful, cool, beautiful and intelligent person. We are all lucky that she survived what she has been through.

I have nothing but respect for this beautiful strong woman. Last Tuesday I was at the live show at Ahoy/Rotterdam and I was absolutely blown away and mesmerised by Go_A's song. Coming to Ahoy I hadn't heard any of the competitors music except for Sweden's entry and our own Dutch entry (offcourse), because I like countries to surprise me. And Ukrain's song just bedazzled me, the energy, the on-stage vibe and the usage of native language. Afterwards I started reading into the song and learned it was about Ukrainian folklore and the coming of spring, and although I don't speak the language I could clearly relate why this song captivated me the way it did. And then to find this documentary about Kate..... When she speaks, and when she sings, she has the ability to forget make you everything around you and only focus on her voice. That, together with those story-telling gorgeous eyes, she is a true piece of art herself. Oh and, FUCK YES, for her loving metal as well! 🤟

Although I don't speak Ukrainian, I learned lyrics from Соловей and Шум by heart. From the very first moment I heard both songs I loved them and I sing and dance to them constantly. I've watched so many interviews from the band and from Kateryna that were on Ukrainian without subtitles and barely understood anything so I'm very grateful for the subtitles on this one :) Thank you for everything that you've given us Kateryna. First i've discovered Go_A and her in Eurovision and saw this documentary in Reddit. As i watched this and learned that she's another artist that trying to make her people remember their culture that was erased by the Soviets, my respect and love to her went from 100 to 1000 especially listening to the hardships she went through in her life but never giving up shows she has a pretty damn strong character.

Від цього у мене посмішка на вустах,бо я щиро радію від того що тоді українці повірили в них. А ще я кайфую від того як на жеребкуванні у них ніхто не брав інтерв’ю і вони постояли і пішли,а тепер їх пісня розриває чарти,вони стають все більш популярними в Європі.А де ті кого розривали журналісти?)) I think Go_A had a very compelling entry submitted, with a unique sound, energy, atmosphere and stage act... Wow! The many, many references in the song to old and far in a cyberpunk setting, the white noise singing combined with techno, the devoid sun, the 1 sun, the 1000 suns, the dance, the discs, the fairy ring stage; what a harmony of contrasts, and meanings. Hello there, coming from Greece. I was a huge fan of Ukraine's 2021 song from the very beginning of its release and glad that finished in such a great position. While I was searching more about it, this video came in my recommended and I clicked it. This is the first time I saw a full documentary on YT, and it was the first one that literally touched me hard. Kateryna, if you ever see this, you are an amazing, passionate and pure person who survived the difficulties of life and never had your soul die from the torment and kept on going. This is what the world needs, pure souls that are resilent in the horrible world we live where many kind and passionate people fade away. Keep on going and hope you find full happiness one day. And to all of people who went through hell in their early years, be like her, who managed to overcome everything, be resilent and most importantly have a strong soul. And most importantly, be sincere with what is inside you and don't lose yourself. May the best to come for you Kateryna!

I can see that her positive mysticism leads her through her life which can really be felt in Shum (the way she looks at you while performing) and she had a turbulent past that also positively impacted her music. I come from a Slavic country (Serbia) in which our mutual ancestors, Slavs also cared for agriculture and folklore (in this case Vesna, goddess of spring) whose lyrics start to fade due to the massive movement of our young generations to big cities and let us say not caring about it at all, so if people like Katerina don't keep them alive, who will? All these people who are against rural cultural heritage forgot who fed them through centuries before they went to big cities. Србија вас много воли!
