Try using press and seal food wrap to lift it off of the glass. You ever try using Vinyl. If your going to do a lot of this kind of stuff get a Silhouette vinyl cutting machine and it will cut all that out for you.

Instead of ironing it to the glass I use Windex.

So there this machine called a plotter. You can cut with laser precision pretty much anything you want. I'm sure it can cut mono kite just as well as vinyl.

And how many people own these "plotters"? Not me.

Yes I own a plotter and works great you can get a cheap one if all your doing is rc planes it won't cut monokote covering but the monokote trim it cuts just like vinyl and you can layer colors and all with it

You are contradicting yourself. When you are taking the cut graphics off the glass you state that the adhesive of the Scotch tape is stronger than that of the MonoCote, but when you are transferring the graphics to the tail you state the reverse is true; that the MonoCote's adhesive is stronger than the Scotch tape. Which is it?

Monokote sticks better to more monokote than glass. Scotch tape's strength is in between making the transfer work.

Chris Zacho Scotch tape sticks to glass better than monocote sticks to glass. Monocote sticks to monocote better than Scotch tape sticks to monocote.

Also, he only ironed the monocote to the tail. He avoided ironing the Scotch tape to the tail.
