In this intermediate printmaking class, led by Cameron Peterson, you'll learn how to create - quite literally - one-of-a-kind prints! Learn about mark-making, options for media in monotypes, and how to print a ghost. Play with abstraction, value, realism, and texture for your very own painterly prints.
Supplies to gather at home:
piece of plexiglas with a 45˚ bevel (learn this skill with Courtney Donahue's plexiglas drypoint class)
paper
pen / pencil
tools for mark-making: fabric, mat-board pieces, Q-tips, etc.
soaking tray (large enough to soak the paper you will be printing on)
brayer
spoon / extra brayer (for burnishing)
ink (preferably water-soluble)
towel
spoon
Optional supply:
watercolor media
