i know im abit late with this.... I’m happy our guys are back but in my honest opinion, they would’ve done better without the collaboration. As an american kpopper I listen to kpop b/c it’s better than majority of our western music, it helped me to get through 12 years my life, it’s much more cleaner than at least 90% of western music and with more western collaborations that kpop artists do it’s really throwing the feeling off for me. They’re starting to americanize kpop music way too much & when westerners react to it, they start to get the wrong idea about kpop! I understand that the artists trying to reach more larger wider audience but there are other ways to do without collabing so much even though its one way for kpop to be discovered faster but when most fresh minded americans hear their favorite artist is featured in a kpop music video, some dismiss the kpop part of it completely assuming the song & MV belongs to the western artist. I don’t know why our guys even need to ask that question? I think they put French Montana in to appeal to Americans but they definitely didn't need him in there because the song is great on it's own. Also Monsta X said the record company put the collab together because they're on the same label, Epic Records.

The group and company probably just went ‘omg American rapper wants to collab’ and French must have been like ‘yo kpop is taking over Twitter so sure’ and then this happened lol. Honestly this song didn’t need French Montana at all. Then again, I can say the same for ALOT of kpop songs that don’t need rap verse in general but must have one to utilise members. I’m extremely late to this video, but here is my opinion on this song: First of all, Monsta X is amazing, their English is on point in this song, their vocals are amazing as always. Second of all, Changkyun didn’t even get a verse (as well as in the English version of Play It Cool) and Changkyun is fluent in English, so I don’t understand why they didn’t give him a verse. It could be because they already had a “rapper” to do the rap verse. Third of all, French Montana wasn’t needed in this song whatsoever. The song can do well without him. They could’ve given a rap verse to Changkyun instead. All in all, Monsta X is amazing and they didn’t need French Montana.
