Their relationship is brother-like. They take it little far sometimes and might sometimes seem rude, but they'd never want to seriously hurt each other.

I am sure of that, but it doesn't mean they can't mess up sometimes. Because they do. Trying to humiliate someone and actually bullying them - the line between them is fine indeed and when it is crossed, the intentions behind the actions don't save everything. Friends can be really mean to each other, too, and at that situation Wonho was also frowning. Wonho seems the most reluctant to tease Kihyun in general, which is a good thing, because it's not like teasing and making your friend embarrassed is the only type of humour that exists, and even if Wonho isn't the middleman in all situations, he seems to be the one that interferes the most when it's Kihyun who's being targeted. That's a sidenote, though. The thing is that they seem to dig up second-hand embarrassment out of their butts like, just for the sake of extra entertainment and I'm always like "... well that was a bit off but it's a huge reach to get stuck in it and can we move on like please you can't be this weak, have you ever even seen anything actually embarrassing?" And it's just... slightly amusing but also irritating so... Idk.

kiriraganna the one where he saw the chairs, in my eyes I actually think he expected that judging by the way he confidently (comically) volunteered to do aegyeo. They do those type of reactions to each other a lot lol this video is focused on kihyun, but he bullies, laughs(HYSTERICALLY) and leads his members to embarrassment too and yes sometimes i do see that the target can get seriously pissed off, it's expected for a group of people who tease each other a lot for fun; i mean have you seen jooheon? That poor boi is the most bullied one of them all and a lot of the videos in those compilations consists of kihyun scaring and bullying the life out of him hahahaha Also, the way i see it, kihyun is pretty straightforward, i'm pretty sure they don't stay quiet when some cross the line. It just depends on a person's level of sensitivity, i guess :)

M Well I have been following them for a long time and after following Korean entertainment culture for so many years I'm very well aware of how their humor works in general. Yes they are over-exaggerating in situations to make them seem funnier. I do understand the concept and the motives and the boys will be boys kind of mindset. You don't need to explain them to me. I simply don't accept people threatening each other with violence when one of them does something that was supposed to be a funny, cute joke. That's where the line should go, period. No need to tell me they're good friends and all. I know that. It doesn't give them an excuse to even jokingly beat each other up, because violence is never funny. Wonho cringed at that moment (not seen in this video because it's cut) so he didn't like it either. And Kihyun did look surprised, because there's a difference between making him shut up by telling him and folding your chair and lifting it above your head to hit him. And just because I paid attention to this precise moment doesn't mean I think Kihyun can't also bully them back. He can and Jooheon is indeed too often his target, and I don't like that either. Kihyun is not an ultimate victim and he does act like an asshole sometimes, but all situations must be observed on their own. I also don't like the way so many idols comment on each other's weights or skin tones, so yes, I'm going to point their mistakes out every time I encounter them, even when the members themselves are thinking everything is fine. Plus, I'm sure they're good friends and take a good care of each other in general, but this was a public situation and all 6 vs 1 member so do you think Kihyun would have complained if he had actually gotten scared? Would you know what's going on inside his head without asking him in private? Sorry for the long rant but I think the members actions don't need to be defended here.

kiriraganna okay but you need to chill. They were laughing as they held the chairs up and were not seriously threatening him nor were they going to hit him. Shownu hits Hyungwon really hard when he wants his attention (during games) or when he does something funny and he's laughing. Hyungwon legitimately goes "OW". Are you upset over that? Wonho got scared by Hyungwon and he stood up so defensively, like he was going to hit him but he didn't. Jooheon was mocking the way Minhyuk sleeps and Minhyuk jumped on him. Kihyun wanted chicken at the beach, and other members wanted other things, things you'd eat at the beach. The staff had them play a game and the entire time, no one wanted him to win. Minhyuk said, "If chicken wins, I'm gonna dropkick him." Chicken won, Minhyuk playfully drop kicked him. He probably flew a little too far and actually hit Kihyun but he wasn't aiming to. Kihyun was laughing so he didn't care. Almost every time they play a game, Kihyun finger flicks them. He actually sends their head back, they stiffen their necks and still end up having it jerk. He hurts them so much with the finger flicks. Get mad at everything else too. You say you understand but you most definitely seem like you're just looking for something to complain about. They're literally acting like any brothers would. Siblings do this and playfully fight or actually fight. Kihyun's not crying every night or losing a smile when they do it. That happened and Kihyun smiled and laughed throughout the meet and greet. You act like they actually hit him. He doesn't feel threatened in any serious way. He literally does some of the same things to them. He literally pushed Shownu off of him when they were filming the drama scene where Shownu towers over him, because he was embarrassed and laughing so much. So if you're gonna be so hellbent on this, don't watch funny Monsta X videos and just listen to their music and watch their performances. Have your opinion and what not, but if you're gonna use it to complain, no one is going to care. Take matters into your own hands and don't watch any of their videos that don't have anything to do with their music. EDIT: Wonho: Kihyun keeps saying the company won't let him show his abs, but he doesn't have any. So, not only has Wonho also made fun of Kihyun, he mentioned his body. No one is innocent. But also, they're grown ass men who can defend themselves and I'm so damn sure they'd let each know when enough is enough.
