People say that Monsta X is a man group not a boy group! They have amazing songs, are lovely blokes, funny af, a bit naughty (especially I.M, the maknae) & their concert was the best I have ever been to. They can all speak English & have a really good English discography including a whole album.

Yes Monsta X is one of my ult groups. I flew to NYC to see them in 2019 (I'm Canadian) worth every penny. They have a more mature look to them but they are the goofiest and sweetest guys truly. They never fail to make me smile :D They have such great albums! I think you will love them!!! The "controversy" with Wonho turned out to be BS. He proved his innocence in court but while he was dealing with accusations he left the group because he was afraid to tarnish their rep. Once it came out he was in the right he debuted as a soloist. We all miss him in MX but he is doing amazing on his own and we still love and support him

Monsta X is the most badass group in the kpop scene ! They are really mature

MonstaX's Rapline (i.e. Jooheon/Joohoney and I.M.) usually is recognized as one of the best in Kpop. Same goes for their Main Vocalist Kihyun. Hyungwon (the one you noticed in the MV) is the Main Visual and therefore his talent usually gets a bit overshadowed by his handsomeness. It doesn't help that he usually doesn't get too many lines in Title Tracks (this one is an exception because Jooheon produced it and therefore did the arrangement too). Little Funfact: The "Hot as F" wasn't really to their company's taste. So I.M. changed the Line into "Hot as °F" and then the company accepted it. While the whole group does speak English, I.M. usually is the person that has to answer the most in English Interviews, because he's lived in America for a while and therefore is a bit more fluent. Shownu, the leader and oldest of the group, sadly is going to enlist in a few days too.

Monsta X has always had a more mature theme. Their songs are typically more mature, their styling definitely more mature. They don't do cute, but they did have some lighter songs. This definitely sets them apart. They're not afraid to be sexy and have steamy love songs. I'm glad you liked them.

MONSTA X member ages range from 26-30 years (KR), so they are a little older in terms of age. In fact, their leader Shownu ("the guy in back" in Prada boots) was a trainee for six years before debuting at a late age of 23 years. MONSTA X are also considered a senior group to many current and new groups as they debuted in 2015, placing them in the 3rd generation (3.5 technically) of K-Pop artists. They definitely have a more mature sound to them compared to other K-Pop groups; something that only recently developed late last year. After Wonho's departure, it took the group the greater portion of a year to shift gears and find their footing again as Wonho was not only the vocalist with visuals, but one of their songwriters and producers. Rappers JooHoney, I.M., and Hyungwon picked up the reins and the group shifted focus towards their strengths working together to create a new, mature sound which has skyrocketed their popularity since late 2020 with the release of the Fatal Love album. The group is set to release more albums and songs this year, despite the absence of Shownu who is currently performing his mandatory military duties until Spring 2022.

This is one of their more laid back dances I've seen so far. Still very sexy and effective they pull off dances no matter what they are. Added bonus this dance extractive makes them look very tall which is very lovely.

MONSTA X is a group in my opinion very different from others, because they're more mature but also in their MV's they show things which other groups hesitate to do. It's like a watch a mini movie always. I recommend you their songs: All in, Shoot out, Hero, Jealousy, Love killa, they also have colab with Steve Aoki, French Montana and many more, they're really very talented and the guy you asked who he is Hyungwon he used to be shy and skinny but now he looks really good :D You need to take time to dive into MONSTA X because they're very interesting really, they're one of my fav top 3 for me!

From all the kpop groups i choose Monsta X because their discography is insanely good and they produce/compose everything (Jooheon the rapper created this masterpiece and he was inspired by his role model Michael Jackson) also they are have a mature vibe( the fandom *Monbebe* are respectful and mature too .

Their all English album (All About Luv) is friggin awesome... highly recommend! The track with Pitbull (Beside U) and the other one with French Montana (Who Do You Luv?) are sooo goddamn good and its so frustrating that US radio didn't put them in rotation. 😑 While I never expect English versions or albums from Korean artists, it's always appreciated when they take the time to do so. I even started a 'Kpop English' playlist thinking it'd be a handful of songs, maybe a couple dozen... but that bad boy is at 160 something songs currently and I keep finding more! This little project has also led me to some AMAZING artists like Seori or Gemini, that don't get nearly enough attention, imo. With the English versions, I typically prefer the original, but there are a couple that I love as much, if not more, than the Korean version... like Red Velvet's Bad Boy and NCT127's Cherry Bomb. I know it's sacrilege to say so, but it's nice to be able to fully sing along once in awhile! 😄

Since you started this hearing about Wonho, and other people on the comments already recommended some songs, I'll recommend you watch his solo work, is amazing. Open Mind, Lose and Ain't About You (that he did in english, feat an american artist named Kiara).

This is such a good song. They have some songs that are in all English as well that are super good. Such a good group! You'll really enjoy their other songs I'm sure.

Now you should check out a cute side of Monsta X🤗 I recommend “Breathe For You” Self Cam version (Wonho is in it too). It’s the video that makes it cute for me. It’s still one of my all time favs, it’s always on repeat🥰.. it’s such an underrated bop (to me at least). My ultimate bias in Monsta X is Kihyun, I love him and his vocals💕

According to people who have met them and compared to other kpop groups that are like "nah" in real life, they say these guys are super but SUPER nice, gentle, kind and funny. They say they like to joke around with the staff and with everyone, basically. So, that's cool and that's why I like them. 🙂

Yes, MonstaX definitely stands from other current boy groups because they seem more "grown-up" (and it's partly because of their age, but also because a few members have more "muscular" physique). As an older person, I find them more relatable for that reason. I would recommend you watch 'Fatal Love", which has a similar vibe as Gambler, and their two MVs with highest views, which are "Shoot Out" , and "Hero". They have a few english language mvs, like "Who do u love?", and "Play it cool".

I love people getting into the monstas through gambler, since it's a song produced by one of the members (the rapper Jooheon); I love to watch their dance practices, theyre so smooth

Monsta X KINGS 🙌🔥 They are truly unique, no one else is like them. As far as Wonho goes, an ex friend of his from his childhood made up awful rumors about him and Wonho worried that it would hurt the boys so he left in order to protect them since their company wasn't doing anything to protect him. Later he was proven innocent of all allegations and we know from Wonho himself, he said that the only way back to his fans was to go solo....which means their company SSE never gave him the chance to rejoin the boys. We despise Starship for this. But he debuted as a solo artist in 2020 and we still love and support him and he is doing AMAZING (he is my ult in MX 🥰). The majority of us still think of Monsta X as 7 even though they are 6 right now. 🤧 As someone mentioned before, Monsta X has always been known as a manly group. They always have done more mature and sexy themes with a few cute things sprinkled here and there lol. Thank you for the great reaction and I hope you react to them more. You're right, the youngest is 25 and the oldest is 29. Monsta X is characterized by having an aggressive and more mature vibe on stage but they really are very sweet and fun. They are also characterized by being one of the most humble, respectful and polite groups. For me, Monsta X has one of the best Rap lines (Jooheon and IM). Their title tracks are spectacular but they also have the best B side songs If you liked Gambler, I'm sure Stuck, Dramarama, Livin it up, Shoot out, Aligator and Follow will like you too. We say, Monsta X is a man group. Once you listen to more of their songs, theyre not like the typical kpops that uve known. the former member is wonho, and he's still loved by the members as far as we know, but since the korean public is very strict they can't be seen together (I am pretty convinced they support him/his solo career). by the way, he released a nice album last year, and there's videos for you to check out: "open mind", "lose" and "it ain't about you". wonho is as big and sexy as his personality is adorable. he was one of the oldest members of monsta x but frequently labeled as the "fake maknae" for his personality/behavior. (I really think "open mind" was one of the biggest bops released by male soloists of 2020, although I also like "lose" pretty much. the video for "it ain't about you" came out just this year.)

Monsta X is the BEST! They are so talented, hardworking, and versatile! I hope you react to more - I promise you won't regret it!!

Fun update on one of the reasons Wonho left the group : ) the girl that tried to drag Shownu as well finally went to jail for all her slanderous bullshit against idols and others. She's not the one who Wonho was friends with as a teen, but the one that girl was trying to date. But anyways, I'm pumped that girl is finally seeing jail time since I was getting sick of her parents' wealth shielding her shitty behavior.

You should look into Monsta X more.... they are really ONE OF A KIND!!! :) You just need to know... Jooheon (now known as Joohoney), I.M., Kihyun, Hyungwon, Minhyuk, and Shownu. Shownu right now is the first who is doing his Military duties at the moment.... He'll be back in 2 years... He literally just left end of this past July.
