There is something so nostalgic but so fresh about this song. Not only does this apply to Monsta X's individual sound, but an entire era of music - 90's R&B, hip hop, electronic, pop. It's a seamless blend of it all, and Joohoney wove the sounds together and made it look easy. And then the video? Glamour and street fashion. I am all in, all here for it.

Wow in the preview I said it sounded so nostalgic, and I totally agree with you. I'm not that educated on music but the 90s feeling of this song is so out there, is like I can hear the inspiration some of Jooheon favorite musicians in this song, he listens a lot to 90s boyband like nsync and of course michael, and I can feel some of them in this song. But everything is also very Jooheon and monsta x, Jooheon is really a genius.

It's everyone's era Minhyuk is out here in pearls and sequin pants hitting every note and in the center of the formation like a true King. 🐶👑🧡 Kihyun is making Monbebe crazy with his signature high notes and amazing vocals 🐹👑❤️ Hyungwon was low key rapping in the initial line and then slays Monbebe telling us to Step It Up while at the center of the formation 🐢👑💚 Joohoney created another masterpiece that is completely different from his other songs. It has a classic, retro yet contemporary feel and it's beyond original. 🐝👑💛 I.M is all grown up. ¿Sabían que las vistas de las primeras 24 horas de Love Killa fueron casi las mismas que las de Love? Y sin embargo, es uno de sus MV con mejor rendimiento. No se desanimen por un "mal" comienzo (de malo no tiene nada, le está yendo mejor que a Rush Hour), al contrario, tomenlo como incentivo para llevar este MV más lejos.

As an EXO-L I never understood why Monsta X hasnt blown up in the US. This is a certified bop and the boys have been promoting over the pond for a while. Whilst not every song was my taste they had songs that I still hold dear to my heart up to this day where we are oversaturated with mediocre music. And this song is one of the few releases I have been enjoying so far in 2022 :D

They are like fine wine, every comeback gets better and better, their visuals, vocals, rapping, dancing, acting, etc... are always on point 100/10, this is fire, their music is always so different from the rest, that's why Monsta X is so unique and eyecatching, I have no words on how they always put such an effort in what they do and give Monbebe and to the world, it's 100% pure talent!

Monsta X is THE ONLY group that stays true to themselves after years and years. At this point I wait for them to flop, but they NEVER DO. This is a fact. Monsta X hands down is the most versatile, unique group ever. Like at this point they've tried everything, and while they're better at some things, slayed all of it. Monsta X has a, and I mean this in the nicest way possible, very stable and ongoing quality. They make songs to feel good to, and I always feel good after listening to their songs. See, most groups, but especially in kpop, lose quality after a while. Once they've reached a respectable amount of fame, they get stuck with the same thing which they know will work. Monsta X isn't like that, they have a great, passionate production behind them and don't shy away from taking part in the production as well. And you can tell. Their music is simple, and that's what makes it so genius. They don't have a theme that is set in stone. If you like Monsta X, you will like them for a while, because they have a very wide let's call it 'expectation width'. In the past I've made the mistake of expecting pretty specific things from groups and musicians, because in their 'golden phase' they did something that I didn't see later on. But Monsta X' golden phase just never seems to stop. I've stanned them since like 2016 and haven't stopped ever since, even though I'm not even that much of a K-pop fan anymore. Those boys slap and it's always such a joy listening to their music.
