On this week’s episode, we join Owen Reigler for the closing of the saga of the 200” plus “Lochness Monster” buck. Starting in the early parts of shed season and carrying through to opening day of bow season, Owen takes us through his process and plan of attack for connecting with the Iowa giant. Spending countless hours at the shooting range with his bow and carefully improving the area that “Lochness” is known to call home, the sweat equity pays off during the first cold front of the Iowa bow season where Owen finds himself toe to toe with his biggest buck to date.

I did not think it was over 200 from the pictures but my god that deer is unbelievable, Congrats Owen couldn’t happen to a more deserving hunter and conservationist, you can tell he has actual love in his heart for these animals

Safe to say that is literally a monster. Hopefully, in his years of cruising, he bred plenty of ladies and his genetics will carry on in that area. Did he say his dad is gone? Oh no. I remember him shooting another giant in a food plot and his dad helped recover it. This is my first season since i lost my dad, he passed in the woods during late Kentucky muzzleloader season 2022. Its heartbreaking to think about goin to the woods and not hearing from him calling asking if i saw anything. Chokes me up

Congrats Owen, that is a tank! Not disputing the 200+ score, I'd love to see the score sheet. Angles and video are hard to tell sometimes. I wouldn't have guessed that high, but he is heavy. Just intrigued by it. Congrats again!

Great show,great video,great shot,very well deserved to a great hunter. At 73 I’ve slowed down a bit. Had a good sit this afternoon over a big whiteoak, was hoping to get a shot with my new bear Kodiak. Never saw a thing but got home and got to watch you take another monster buck. Congratulations sir you deserve it.
