Monster 40lb King Salmon! Alaska Fishing Adventure

In this episode of The Dailies, our group fishes with Captain Nils from Kingfisher Charters and Lodge in Craig, AK. Watch as we limit out on Coho Salmon, Black Bass and Halibut. Being 7,797 miles away from the farm also yields 40 lb King Salmon.

We salmon fish on the northern tip of Vancouver Island fo a month every year since I was 10 years old (54 years ago lol). I am always glad to find new videos... I subscribed!!

Oh man!!! Salmon is the expensive food in my country that i cant afford...u are very lucky one to fishing it for free!!! Glad man someone enjoy it the expensive food

I caught a clone of that 40#r, here in Juneau, from the shore last spring..44#s is my biggest but I have seen bigger.. King is king.. Delicious.. Nice fish. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun.. Good eats

I hear they're becoming harder to find though...My dad was on Kenai in the mid-80's and hooked a 55#er. We had a GREAT time, can't wait to go back!

Las Craigas is awesome! Simply paradise and love fishing there. My largest up there was 37lbs. My goal is to get a 40+ out of the salt. Looks like you got a rare good weather and flat ocean window too.

Yeah, we had calm seas for the three days we were fishing. Limited out every day thanks to our hard-working captain!
