I feel like almost everyone didn't bat an eye how similar Dr. Tenma and that drank guy who shot Johan actually are, visually vise. You'd think it's just a coincidence, but is it? I think it is very much intentional that they look almost alike (well aside from a face). But why so? Maybe it's meant to represent that what would have happened if Tenma became an obsessed alcoholic, who would turn out to be abusive and still not be able to take someone's life until something flicks. Or another theory is that the drank guy was meant to portray as if it's Tenma the one who shots Johan instead of an actual Dr. Tenma, so he won't be turned into a killer

It really just boils down to Johan felt the way he felt because in his most vulnerable moment his mom instead of choosing to defend her kids when one has to be taken she hesitates and actually is almost ready to give one away. So then that makes John question whether he was truly loved or not and for him the only Person he knows that cares for him and loves him is Ana and tjays why he thinks her memories are his it’s just how close his bond is to his sister due to his trauma.

I just finished Monster yesterday. And man, it was absolutely amazing. Johan is so evil but still so cool. Grimmer is best boii. In one word, it's a fucking "masterpiece". And has secured it's spot as my #2 favourite manga.

@@yaqinmalul1364 I have few reasons as to why first which is my main reason as to why is the Trash Taste podcast before that one ep where they talked about it probably encouraged people to read/watch it. My second reason was the Masked man's video about Monster and the only reason why I went thru with reading it was his video on Johan and the thumbnail and beginning of the video just captivated me and his video is really good and since he has a very dedicated fan base there obviously gonna check it out, and my last reason is Instagram animanga profiles like a lot of these people like to be pretentious and feel like they have taste is by reviewing monster and putting it in there top 10 recommendations/ list also pages that make edits of Johan and people ask for tge sauce in the comments which I also am one of the people asking for t g e sauce seeing edits of cool and interesting animanga

You forgot to mention why Johan asked his sister to shoot him in the forehead. He first shot his wealthy foster parents and then handed the gun to his sister and told her to “kill” him (by shooting him in forehead and she does so). “Kill” is the word she repeats over and over as she falls into a deep “psychological coma” where she no longer remembers her childhood. Q: Why did Johan ask her to shoot him? His precarious head wound as you reviewed, was expertly repaired by Dr Tenma and hence the drama of this amazing anime unfolds. Dilemma: I cannot find the second (and third?) season anywhere on the internet. The series accumulated more than 70 episodes. Any help on finding the last one or two seasons? Incredibly written psychological thriller. Good review, thanks! 👍

Johan also that he will die but he rescued Then Johan thought that fate is on his side When tenma and Johan came face to face Johan thought that he will definitely die by tenma But got shoted by the drunked who was seen a 7 head monster in Johan This means that tenma didn't shot Johan But fate chooses to shoot him Like Johan planed everything, even his death but he didn't except that the drunked kill him and still surive We are leave at a cliff hanger at the ending We want the answer of the Johan question?
