I don't know if it's the remote or sensor but it doesn't work, it will stay on default until unplugged even when I am so close to the sensor and an just clicking and clicking. I like these so please help

I found these at Staples for $6 a pack. One problem is that over time the adhesive loses stickiness, particularly if your monitor is really hot. Heavy-duty double-side tape will secure these better than the original adhesive.

Hello! i had a questions about your 30 inch ultra wide curved Msi optix mag302 cr2 i was wondering how big is the actual stand like that are over all dimensions of the stand from front to back and then side to side measurements i can’t find any info online about the size of the stand it self i want to see if i have enough room on my desk for it!

Is it possible to remove white adhesive on the strip light after you remove the blue cover tape?

Thought i remember the adhesive being clear... Once removed it does not re apply very well. I uaed 3M foam kind of tape to restick. Please click my playlist if you want more information on fixing strips also often have links in the video description to the products. If you simply wanted to remove the adhesive strip it should be possible to get the tip of the the sticky tape and pull it off... Might be messy to do and come apart.

Also if I cut the RGB strip , won't it lose power and not work? How will it still work if I cut it if that makes sense

@@franciscoo2766 The cut lines allow power from one stip to another strip on the trace lines when using connectors. Cut anywhere else there is no normal way to interconnect. If you cut off somewhere else certain colors could be missing off the last LED remaining

@@franciscoo2766 that's why in my video discription I list the connectors for purchase so you can cut and connect it at angles and stuff. That is also why I have a RGB strip playlist which includes cutting and connecting strips.

I connect them to my tv when I turn on the tv the led turn on too but only last 5 seconds on and then they turn off, what can I do?

Get the manual for your TV or check the menu to find out if your TV USB has some form of auto turn off, connect to a different USB port... or connect to a power bank to make sure it is the TV that is the issue... If it is the TV some sort is wall plug to USB like a mobile phone charging block rated 5volts and 2amps (10 watts) should more than work.

There is the Ugreen USB hub with SD card reader and also the Davinci Resolve speed editor that was on my desk. This channel is mostly my tech videos... I review piles and piles of RGB light strips and light bars since that video... On my channel playlist. My other channel is mostly microphones, audio interfaces and several tripod reviews. 100% of my light strips are now Govee brand

How do I get it to remember the color when I turn it off and back on?

I don't think I had that problem... Sadly I haven't owned this product for well over a year. I use only Govee RGB lights which I have reviewed a pile of... Got zero for review, all personal purchases. If the USB is powering off with the connected device losing power that might be why it is not remembering the last color used. I hate the lack of quality of these cheap Monster strips.

Is your brightness turned up? is your screen against the wall and did you put the strips along the outer edge as I show in this video? Are you connected to an underpowered USB port? If none of these are the reason for your issues you may want to contact Monster. I purchased this product myself just like everyone else and have no connection with the manufacturer.

Yes one remote can control mulitple strips. I had 4 strips I controlled on the regular model without the multi-white. Reviewed on this channel along with many RGB strips and light bars which can be found by clicking my channel name and checking out my playlist. I would not recommend connecting multiple strips together and the strips would get very dim.

I do not know of any APP for these. The remote normally works but is very line of site. Also make sure to remove the plastic tab that stops that battery from powering the remote. If you want good lights that work with an APP go to my playlist and check out the pile of RGB lights I've reviewed. Govee brands is really good for the price paid. There is RGB all the same color at the same time and RGB IC that allows all different colors displayed along the strip at the same time.

The remote bust be close to the little control box near the USB. It might be too far in back of the screen? I use a completely different but more expensive brand for my LED strips. I have an entire playlist of different products.

@@pullupboyzgta1779 The TV shouldn't make any difference. The USB power out of the TV can make a difference if the port is proper. Sometimes a USB port on a TV does not supply power.

I saw those at Walmart in the area. To me they look too expensive to try lol. Closest thing I tried was the Govee Flow Pro light bars.

Wish someone would have asked that sooner while I still had the strips. Never even thought of that one, would have been simply to try with a USB type A to C adapter.

@@galacticslothytunedited6005 there is a remote... Mine didn't have any APP option. With you want strips with APP option, Wifi, Bluetooth and stuff you should check out my RGB strip / light bar playlist on my channel. I've reviewed a lot of products.

Good lord, I came looking for help syncing them with the monster app which I can't get the lights to blink to put them into sync mode, and what do I find, horrible advice about pulling the outter layer off, they very easily loop, and very easily installed on the back of a 32 inch monitor. I would HIGHLY recommend against average users tearing the water proof layer off your LEDs, least you break them and good luck with the return, umm, I saw some guy on youtube tearing it off so I tried it too, and broke them, also, cutting them to make a corner? Just loop it around, sure part of it sticks out, but thats what they're supposed to do, look into the manual to see exactly what I mean, the cut method is really for extending them, or running multiple lines into one strip, not really for every corner you come across. The shiz you see on the interwebz

I have long since scrapped these. I use only Govee (not provided, all my my strips and lights are self purchase and playlist in the video description), so much better than these cheap Monster branded ones. This video is the first time I ever attempted to remove that waterproof layer, I honestly hate having it on anything. Makes the strips harder to deal with and how many people really need it? None of the strips I use and I have 2 strips, govee light bars and a different brand of wall washer lights and an RGB LED computer desk that I have now.

@@ZZZGGGLLLAAAHHH yes I would, not so much the USB strips... I reviewed a pile of Govee stuff. It's on my playlist of my channel with RGB stuff I reviewed. I deleted my USB Govee strip review cause I had some music I paid for that I got striked on. The USB strips were really flashy and fast moving colors

it's connected fully, you can not flip a USB type A UNLESS... you don't have the multi white version which CAN be flipped before the USB in which case yes Brent than would be correct on flip that part

That tab is a pain in the rear. As far as I remember you pull the tab back and out. Once you get it out once you no longer have to really think about it .. other than the dumb tab lock design.

I didn't have a problem, and does it look like I had a problem sticking them on? No... However; these shouldn't have waterproofing, it makes these more difficult with it on... Either straight runs or connectors. Loops can't be done with that silly water proof covering without issues or it won't stay on for long

They kind of are. I have not used any Monster strips at all since this video. They are all in the trash ( I tested ones before this). Most of my strips and light bars are from Govee and are reviewed on this channel on my playlist of RGB stuff. PS don't get USB Govee strips, I reviewed them but I deleted that video... The LEDs are quite separated but also purchased 3 sets and 2 of the sets had defective LEDs. They are sold on Amazon but Govee does not sell them on their own online store.

And all RGB items other than computer speakers are out of my own pocket cost. Get the RGBIC models not plain RGB if you want the good stuff. Geeni Prisma, Sparkle, Monster and the USB Govee (review I deleted) are all somewhat garbage. Click on my newest videos on my channel those RGB are the Govee light bars, the Govee RGB on the Shelf and the RGB video with me wearing the crown in the video. The Govee Lively also still working. All working like new and those review videos are not new that new.

Why strip off exterior led insulation? Just purchase interior led strip.

because it can not loop with that insulation. I don't use Monster brand anymore, they are garbage. I now currently use 2 Govee Strips models, Govee Glide Light bars and Govee Flow Pro light bars that have now been replaced by the identical "DreamView P1 Light Bars" I also use Wall washer light and have an RGB desk from Homcom, BeQuiet Light Wings ARGB Cooling fans... You can see it all other than my wall washer lights here: kzfaq.info/sun/PLxiepNzlBZrR18MhVJwJEa3p-dO0E7ed8 And I paid for 100% of everything out of pocket.
