We were on immediately they sold out in 3mins 25 secs and we had a 4 minute wait time only to loose them, Theres a ebay seller with 60 of them and is selling for 200 each with only 9 left that scalper made 10k in one night

It is extremely unfortunate that we as fans cannot buy directly from Mattel if we want one of their collector dolls. If anything Mattel should do an investigation and look into the system they have in place right now. Because so far every Mattel Creations doll has had this issue.

They sold out at 3:08 I was on the waiting list and they sold out, and yes it’s super duper frustrating that Mattel doesn’t even care. It’s like they don’t even wanna make more money. Very DISAPPOINTED.

At this point they're just letting the scalpers make more money than them off these dolls. The waiting list was a joke. Very sad that Mattel does not make dolls for their fans. If anything they're making them for the scalpers at this point. 🥲

@@SirenaofFlowers Very true, other people are the ones that are making the profits out of them. They really need to hired a new team and really think everything through. Fans can’t get the dolls no more. And sucks badly. I’m reading and lots lots of fans didn’t get them Like the majority of fans from monster high.

At this point I am just getting more and more convinced mattel works with scalpers. Either for percentage of the secondary sales or just to create artificial hype.

They do have a 2 per order limit which is one way to prevent scalping but yeah people still have bots which is unfair & I do agree they should make more especially with a franchise like this that is so popular

Unfortunately the limited failed considering they managed to scalp them anyway 😭 I was on ebay and a seller had over 31 dolls of Jack and Sally sets to sell.

This is why i mostly choose to collect older dolls, also because it's not common for me to like the new dolls since the quality isn’t always as good and they often don't pique my interest, but this was one the cases where i wanted the new dolls and i forgot how bad this issue is😢

this always happens , mattel shouldn't even let unverified users sell their creations on ebay without something to make sure they aren't a scalper , also i still can't believe mattel hasn't stopped these people , the line only made it worse , I clearly forgot that this happens to alot of skullectors and monster high collector dolls...

This happens EVERY time. 😢I'm surprised Mattel hasn't taken Ebay to court over this. Ebay scalpers are making more money off them honestly.

I was waiting for 5 minutes in line. Got to the checkout screen. Clicked Paypal to pay and then my cart was empty. It was frustrating for those wanting to collect it, not make extra money so unforunately, had to pay scalper prices. Ugh!

Why apologize for doing this video? I feel upset too. I was on there right at noon, then on the waiting to check out list, sold out within 5 minutes of waiting to check out. One person said they were on the waiting to check out for 1 minute and no luck for them either. I refuse to buy off of scalpers, when we buy off of them, there is no incentive for them to stop.. This is what creates demand and brings up the prices.

They sold out real quick, no joke, but I’m okay with these two that are sold out. It upsets people for why they sold out really quick, but oh well, I was gonna get one for my birthday but my mom said I got too many dolls already. That’s okay…..

Too many dolls!? You can never have enough dolls! 😤 I'm an adult and I'm still collecting them. Whenever someone judges me I just say "It's better I collect dolls than drugs". 🤣

im lucky to have gotten them but i would have been so mad if i was waiting and they sold out. hopefully they restock them soon for people who didn't.
