core refresh frankie gives me scene kid vibes. i'm LIVING for it

oh my, I had zero interest in Catty, but now OH MY GOSH! She looks 100 times better than I thought! And I may end up going for all the Core Refresh after all. Frankie, in particular, looks amazing!

I want all 4 of them! Core Refresh is my favorite line so far this year. Plus Catty is so adorable 🥰

core refresh lagoona has by far been my favorite g3 lagoona. she easily ranks among my top 5 g3 dolls. i can't wait for her to start showing up in my country.

I get why Catty has the same hands so she can hold everything not just stuff made for her.

My favorite thing about this line is the journals (one of my fav things from g1) and the new accessory molds!!! Frankie has a CapriSun, Clawdeen with the cute sandwich bag, Draculauras and Lagoonas notebooks, and Cleos heart jar!! Love it all

aww Cleo and Frankie have matching lipstick colors! all of these dolls are very strong, along with Monster Fest. I’m soo excited for this direction of g3!

I think lagoona actually comes with a sketch book, her and ghoula draw comics. Lagoona makes romance and drama comics while ghoulia makes superhero’s, her and gill bond over comics too so I like that touch.

Catty Noir is still serving too much Barbie Extra reject for my liking. Every one else looks great though 👍

Yknow, moving the concentration of pink from the back bow up to her shoulders really balanced out some of the issues I had with Catty. And the core refresh is just wow really giving us more alt fashion vibes and I love it

i feel like maybe this is their new final looks bc they discontinued their first core dolls for clawdeen and draculaura and it’s been confirmed they’re gonna do that with this second wave of dolls

I'm super excited about these dolls!! Catty and Frankie in particular, I love it that Frankie's top looks like a binder!!! Has that diagonal stitching on the straps that a lot of binders have, which is a detail I really appreciate!

Core refresh Clawdeen and Draculaura grew on me so I got them, and then I like all of the others so I'll be getting all basics this time. I do like Catty's look more but the dress could really still be better. I hope Catty gets some other outfits/dolls too. The boots could use more color on them like white or something.

very excited, i love lagoona's pants, but i think i can only justify buying another frankie lmao maybe i'll be tempted by lagoona once i see her in person. very excited to see catty's sculpt as well! hoping this means we'll eventually see more actually plus sized dolls and not the curvy or slimthick ones people like to label as plus sized. i remember when draculaura's original g3 doll was shown people were calling her plus sized...wild honestly

Im pretty much going for every core refresh except maybe Clawdeen. They're huge improvements.

I guess i'm not spending any money for a while 😭 Edit: so I can save up for all the dolls

I also love Core Refresh Frankie. I do think the shirt should've stayed white to match the shorts, but I like the pink on their hair and shoes, and also the fishnet leggings they added, so I think they're much better than the prototype. Lagoona and Cleo are just perfect. I also think Catty turned out better than the leaked prototypes, the sleeves don't look as bad on the actual doll. But the shoes really needed a lot more paint on the chains.

I don't think I will be getting catty unless she goes on sale because her overall outfit is kinda boring but I will be buying the core refresh dolls 😊

I am not a fan of Catty sorry. The boots throw me off and the shoulder thingies aren’t great. Those boots should have been silver. Lagoona and Cleo are so good looking though! These will be the first Cleo and Lagoona I get of the core members besides the monster feast. Then there is Frankie. Everything was going so good, and then they added pink. Ugh the pink ruins it so much for me. So many of the dolls have pink as a main color or accent color. Drac, Venus, Catty, Ghoulia, Lagoona. So many of them have pink. I’m not saying they can’t use pink in Frankie. I just wish that the pink was better. They could have used yellow or blue. The only times I see them do pink well with Frankie is the Amped up Frankie, that target exclusive doll, and their original core gen three look. It just feels like an afterthought to me. Catty was so disappointing. I know we shouldn’t compare to that drawing but that looks so so SO much better. She had silver shoes and black accents. The shoulder shall thingies look so much better. Over all two out of the four are stand outs that being Cleo and Lagoona. I am still a die hard “Lagoona should have been blue” defender but this Lagoona I have to give it to her. Cleo is just so much better. Her original look was just so much blue. I am so thankful they made the blue her accent colors now. I am excited for them.

i love lagoona but im still not sure about those trousers, i hope its a looks way better in person sorta thing edit: its grown on me I love her weird trousers also frankie is AMAZING! i still feel like the pink could have been that greeny yellow instead but its still so cute!! Finally CATTTY!!!! im not in love and thoses boot NEED some paint but shes good! i do wish their first actually plus size doll would be a little better but hey oh maybe ill try and get a second pair of boots for her to paint :3

I've never liked Catty, this G3 version is only making me dislike her more. The core refresh dolls are even better than Drac and Clawdeen. I especially like Cleo and Lagoona. And no hot pink lip to be seen... REJOICE!

They are all really adorable and I would like to have them. Although I will say that I still don't like Catty's outfit. It's possible some slight changes were made, but I don't see much. I think that they could have made a really beautiful outfit her new curvier body, but they took the easy way out. If MGA can make beautiful outfits for their curvy dolls, so can Mattel. I still think her face is really cute, and she's a good doll, just the outfit really needs help :(

i loveeeee core refresh lagoona and frankie, theyre the best of all the core refreshes - the ones that have better outfits than their core dolls imo. i dont rlly like catty - her outfit is fine, just very ehhhh to me, and unlike other dolls with meh outfits you dont get multiple pieces (i think) to pay around with which sucks

As a trans enby, Frankie’s refresh is giving goth androgyny. It’s the most trans-looking doll I’ve ever seen (idek what exactly that means), and I am loving it. Also Lagoona had a massive glow-up, I love her hair being mostly blonde. (All of them had a glow-up, but mostly her) Edit: Catty’s neck looks better, but she could use at least slightly chunkier hands. Hands also build fat
