Hi there!!
If you’re a Monster High fan you are probably well aware that new Creeproduction dolls were released this week!
I picked up some myself, but the only new doll in the bunch for me was Spectra Vondergeist.
She has unfortunately has polypropylene hair, which is a low quality hair fiber known to be stiff, dry and to degrade quickly over time.
Despite that I still wanted her. I’m planning on rerooting her down the line, but in the meantime I wanted to play around with styling her hair!
I used a straightener to tame her poly hair and give her that signature flared out look! High key I feel like I slayed her hair and I’m very happy with the end results!
This Spectra doll is stunning all things considered and she has me more hyped than ever for her G3 counterpart to hit the scene!

This is my favorite reproduction so far! Beautiful face and hair turned out wonderful ahh! I'm waiting for my Spectra^^ I've never had her as a doll so I'm excited!

I did this too, and she looks so good. I adore Spectra, she was the one from this set I was most excited abt, and to be honest, I don't mind the poly, since it can be styled like this. It looks great.

Great vid! I love OG Spectra, but I just hate that she doesn’t have the same cheekbones as her first iteration😭 they still look good but she was always my favorite bc of that snatched face

I'm really hoping these get a European release, I was able to get a full set from Mattel Creations but I want an NIB and OOB collection of these ❤ OOB Spectra is definitely getting a reroot

I hate that almost all the boxes have some scratches on the side next to their face. It's like if mattel packed them so tightly to ship them to retailers and they are all scratched.

Hmm you might be able to curl the ends of her hair and trim off the excess to get the shape right but I’m less certain on the best way to pull this style off without using heat tools

@@Draculijah thank you! would it be a good idea to boil wash her hair with not too hot water before i curl it with rollers so it can dry in that shape? im not a huge expert on doll hair lol

i really want to style my Spectra's hair just like you did. But mine is not the creepoduction, its the original one in Wave 2/Schools Out . Im not really familiar with the hair types, if i do this would her hair get burned ? Please answer i really need your help!!

Hmmm that’s probably kanekalon hair on Spectra which is not very heat resistant. I wouldn’t use heat tools like a straightener on her hair as it’s prone to burning/melting very easy
