Rise was a good game but man Sunbreak really elevated it to god tier status for me. Went from like middle of the pack game to my second favourite MH game, only beaten out by 4U.

I'll preface this with the fact I've been playing for 14 years, and each newer games has been steadily easier and easier to me. That being said, while I found Sunbreak to be easy, the new story line is charming, the characters are great, Fiorayne and the other new allies you can play with solo, the cutscenes and introductions are closer to what I loved them being in 4U, and the final boss was a fuckin BANGER! My only grievance is that I was so excited due to the trailer for the title updates coming soon, that I may have blasted through the whole thing within a week, by sacrificing part of my sleeping hours from my usual schedule cause I wanted to play, regardless of when I got home from work lmao

Literally the only reason I didn't participate in the Sunbreak streams is because I didn't want to get spoiled by anything I haven't experienced. I love watch J play Monster Hunter, but I want to play through the game and have a (mostly) blind experience for myself.

I wonder how JFJ would feel about playing STALKER Anomaly, that game is story telling generator, anything can happen in that game, one day you organizing your stash of broken weapons to fix and preping for a journey to go take out a target across the zone, and then suddenly a monolith squad pulls up and you get into a fire fight before you even leave your station. Also that game causes heart attacks. Play with music off by the way.
