@user-bv3ok2re3s idk, I'm big but I'm not super obese anymore. 6'5 and I used to weigh about 415lbs, now im at 350lbs.. probably a little less. My eating choices have changed drastically over the past year or so, yet I'm still getting worse. Definitely feels like my body will shut down soon. The gorilla frog monster seems to have more in common with Garangolm than Tetranadon. I’d wager that they used Garangolm’s animation rig for that monster too.

​​@@NemXX2 Rise was fine if that is what you are into. I couldn't play it for more than 6 hours cause the game didn't give me a reason to care, it was just "go here, kill this". Why? "Because that is what the quest says". If that is your jam and you find world-building a waste of your time, Rise is great. These games are simply for very different audiences.

@@user-bq8oq3wc4p While little monsters can technically attack and hit larger monsters, they never had any monster-specific animations like turf wars. I hope the addition of little monster turf wars might indicate that the little monsters are getting some love in this game, as they usually seem like somewhat of an afterthought and I would love to see them play a bigger role in hunts!

Palicos could always speak. We just heard meow meow and read what they said. I bet this is so the palico can give advice during the hunts. I enjoyed the hunter hints the character gave in Rise. It helped introduce me to monster hunter. Honestly, i am not a fan of silent protagonists in any game, so this is a plus.

I think just being close to your mount should allow you to switch. The act of switching weapons, calls your mount to your side, and you grab your weapon off it. I think that would be cool. Especially if there are skills that allow passive sharpening when you aren't using a weapon. Just swapping when you would normally sharpen, and your mount/palico do it off screen over time or something.
