The sounds produced here are not being created by a small form. The lung capacity and the chest cavity size would have to be very large to create the amplitude and the bass we can hear. This is a hulking form and produces sounds lower in pitch to that of a bear, cougar, wolf, fox etc. It has an interesting range too, going from the deep animal-like under the breath growls/grunts to human-like vocals to the higher primate-like whoop. That's quite the repertoire!

OMG!!! I live in Alabama and I have been having strange sounds, structures, even unidentifiable huge prints in the woods. I was outside yesterday doing some gardening , and something was sorting loudly in the bushes just a few feet away. Whatever it was upset all the animals--birds, squirrels, cats,. The second time , it was much louder so I decided to investigate. I walked a few feet, and my cats who usually love to hike in the woods, all sat down in a line to watch me enter the woods. It snort-grunted loudly and took off. This thing is FAST and very heavy. It snort- grunted as it sprinted through the woods toward the creek. The woods have totally changed in the last few months--the weirdest things I have seen in my 52 years. Far too many to mention here. We had a large tent set up out back. Last year I found it shredded, pieces of it are still in nearby trees and bushes. The most bone-chilling encounter was a few months ago when I nicknamed whatever this is "Bahoo" , after the loud soul-piercing call that it makes. I have been researching animals for months trying to find some of these sounds. Whatever this thing is, the horses across the street are EXTREMELY spooked by it. I also smelled an extremely foul odor just before yesterday's "encounter". I wish I could take some pictures of the woods, I would love to hear someone's opinion on the growing number of giant trees arranged and sometimes woven into huge arches and teepees. This "thing" watches me, follows me in the woods, and has "escorted" me to the mailbox at the end of our very long driveway late one night. That was the time I saw the glowing red eyes on something that seemed to be crouched, the eyes about 4 feet from the ground when it let out a deafening cry of "BAaa--HOOOooooo !!!!! I have never been so terrified or ran so fast in my life.......

I've done the GA portion of the AT and saw nothing or heard nothing. Then one random day I went exploring off Brasstown Bald -off or near the Wagon Wheel trail a few miles in and heard a grunt that paralyzed me with fear. Thanks to the video, something is lurking in the woods.

The most fascinating part is around 1:11-1:20 when you can clearly hear what is a form of language. That and the fact they are clearly using tools is incredible! As much as I want to see what one clearly looks like one day I hope they stay hidden. They are a beautiful race and have earned the right to live on this planet as they see fit.

3:15 after the "Whoop" vocalization, there is a answer or echo kind of sound. I thinks os more of an answer in the same way of communication. This is amazing!... And eerie

Im from alaska and had about 6 or 7 of these creatures screaming at me on a hunting trip amd i was in a very remote place off of prince of wales island i recently moved to wash me and my boy went camping we seen one and had it outside our tent i could hear this thing about 8ft above our tent breathing through what sounded like nose... Both events have truly changed my life theres alot more to both stories but in short i believe 100% they are human like and have abilities we cant fathom

There is more then 1, there is at least 2 but my guess is this is a group of them moving through and they probably smell your presents out there. That clacking is signalling back, you can hear when it stops clacking it hoots and a faint hoot back from the distance. Much like dear, their is a leader or two leading a small pack and will go ahead a little ways before the rest follow. You can hear when it scraps up the rocks from the ground, tests them out, part of one falls apart and then it continues on a few moments with random sounds then the clacking starts. This is crazy, you have so many different sounds being made by whatever these are, different sounds that are not comparable to any other animal. I believe you have at least 2 of them trying to sniff out why it smells like there is someone there, they dont find anyone but they are careful and are communicating back and forth and at one point, one makes a sound that almost resembles a voice in reverse 1:13 which is very interesting, thats communicating to another. The best of this whole thing is the end, the rock clacking, its clacking stones to signal, what animal is capable of this? You have to have at least a couple fingers or something to hold a stone and you have to have someone of an intelligent brain to use it to make a sequence of clicks to inform another party. This is amazing. This has to be one of the best "creatures in the woods" sounds I have ever heard. There is one part where one does this faint growl thing 1:51 , not a growl but a faint similar sound with its throat, i love that it done that after all the other noises that it or they was making, but that hoot at the end with one back from the distance is amazing.... I

I have heard this sound along the Mingo Creek River in South Carolina years ago. I will not never forget that night, sounded like a race horse running at us, as I raised up my gun and Shot in the direction it was coming to us from, once I got my hearing back from the gun shot which was just seconds. The first part of this recording is exactly how this creature I in countered sounded as it was circling us after I shot it! We left everything in the woods and ran for dear life. The next day we went back with several people to get our camping gear and put out the fire that was just hot ashes, we found blood every where but not a trace or track of nothing! This is the only video with the same sound as I heard that night. I will never forget it! That was in 2002

Bro if you're serious....it's obvious that whatever it is ain't there for the camera...it's investigating your scent trail, the camera is obviously the strongest point since it would have been the last thing you were at. Sounds like it's marking territory or some shit.

I'm currently experiencing this east of Atlanta. Found this video trying to figure out what I'm dealing with. It keeps throwing rocks and making crazy growling/whooping noises at night. I've hunted GA woods my entire life. I know deer, coyotes, Bobcats, owls, possums, armadillos, bear.....this is none of those. I'll hear hell of loud sounds that sound like a creature with lungs the size of my torso then when I go back in the woods with my gun/light often times I will have rocks thrown at me. Sometimes it seems like the trajectory is from the canopy not the ground. This shit is fucking with my head.

It could sence the presence of the recorder, that something wasnt right in the environment, but couldnt find it, see it, or whatever, and tried to scare it away.

You know what it is. I encourage you to be mighty carefull going into those woods alone. These things are animals and are at the very top of the food chain.

Just realizing were most likely listening to a Sassy is just remarkable and a rare thing! It should be appreciated. Thank you for this. I hope they'll always be safe and never come into danger by the hands of humans. I think they don't have issues with people going in or out of the woods but we must respect them... They are very aloof but they do become territorial when someone in ons their turf. Missing 411 has some details ons this and yeah some people go missing I believe, who get into close proximity of these beings, I think they don't tolerate close encounters with humans well.

These are typical bigfootsounds. They are even known for "rockclacking" (clacking rocks together) and "whoops"(the highpitched sound he/ she makes in addition to the rockclacking is a "whoop")

Banging of stick (a bear can't do that) and you got a "whoop" and a reply. You mentioned you don't "believe" in Sasquatch. Follow the facts, read Dr Jeff Meldrums book. All they need is a body. Just watched David Paulides' Missing 411 documentary.... and towards the end of the video there is some audio recordings from several hunters taken back in the 70's in California at night around their hunting camp. The whooping heard in this video is pretty much identical to what is heard in those audio recordings.... very interesting. In fact, there are many similarities in this audio recording to theirs.

I've heard very similar extended growls, along with with other sounds that you may associate with bigfoot in northwest Montana - not bear, or cougar - there's something big out there.

Did anyone else notice that right around the 1:00 mark just before squatchy boy starts muttering to himself and shuffling around, something calls out from the distance. It’s as if one yelled, “yo, where you at,” and the other said, “oh shoot, let me make some noise” clacked on some rocks, waited, and then wooped to see how close his friend was. And if other videos are any indication, squatch are fast, so it wouldn’t surprise me if he cleared that distance that quick. Is it real? Who knows. But it’s compelling.

I’m afraid to tell you that what you recorded is an abomination! I have never seen one, but I have listened to many eyewitness accounts on a podcast called Sasquatch chronicles, and some of those accounts are extraordinarily terrifying!
