Chuck Werner's save from Jacksonville was definitely one of the ecstatic moments in my opinion. 2012 was a great year for monster jam! I miss the OG MJ so much and better then like it is today.

I got Tom Meents’ helmet after that save in El Paso 2015. Glad I have a bit of Monster Jam history.

Andy Slifko's save in Atlanta 2009 was pretty memorable. The truck was balanced on 2 wheels for several seconds before he brought it down.

It's nice seeing a new take on these save "compilations", having actually commentary. Those one wheeled ones are insane. I suspect possibly a new challenge arising including some type of one wheeled stunt in the future (considering we have the two wheeled Great Clips one).

My absolute favorite save ever was the one you showed with Grave Digger at World Finals 3. Him wheelie-ing into the remains of the huge container that was there, and him saving it with the front of the truck having frayed grill is something that I always love to go back and watch. Not so much the immediate aftermath since he crashed the car into a traincar in what I would think was an uncomfortable situation.

Yeah, that was spectacular. While Dennis did roll over afterwards with about 30 seconds left on the clock, he should've won instead of Tom, since Tom's engine was out for like 10 seconds and they didn't stop the clock. Tom did fill the clock sure, and have lots of momentum, but his moves pale in comparison to Dennis's save. It's a shame that Dennis won the very first World Finals Freestyle Championship in 2000 but never won it since.

Was there at that El Paso show in 2015. The whole stadium when ballistic over that save. Still have my footage from that moment.

This definitely has recency bias. Dawn Creten 2008 World Finals, Tom Meents 2007 St. Louis, Adam Anderson 2010 Jacksonville, etc.

I can name a few, Excaliber 2010 Jacksonville (Racing Save), Eradicator 2009 Atlanta & Indianapolis, Grave Digger 2007 Atlanta. If there's any more incredible saves? I'm ready to see or hear more.

That wasn’t even a save?? He had a wheelie going and isn’t a good driver so he kept it pinned and then crashed and he gunned it more causing a super lucky save that wasn’t needed or really a save! He could have let off gas after wheelie or tried to save it like a skilled driver, but heavy D just guns it and prays for the best! Plus he broke his truck with that stupid crap and ruined his run!

@@Mr.Binglemanofficial lmfao I was there live to and heavy D just hit the gas n prayed if you call that a save you have no idea what your talking about! I have seen brodozer since his debut 10 times in person, they aren’t good drivers the truck just has so much power it makes it much easier to get lucky! Like do you think diesel Dave meant to do that double backflip? No, nothing they do is purposeful as they don’t have the skill to do it! No offence to them either, they are using a completely unknown truck with unknown capabilities! But to state that’s the best save you have seen is pathetic and sad to the sport!

They were not similar at all, those saves were more similar to max d in Baltimore 2013

I think Ryan's finishing move in Syracuse 2017 is incredible (the very end, just after the stoppie-to-moonwalk that you made a full vid about), where he perches it up on one tire and then pulls it back onto all fours.

IMO the best saves are either ones you least expect the truck to recover from or ones that last a long time where the driver is working their ass off to save it

I don’t think it’s an all time save but my favorite save was from Tyler Menninga 2019 at the Tacoma dome. Insane one wheel save what left me speechless and unable to scream like I usually do 💀

8:28 idk why but the MAX-D chassis at that time seemed to be suitable for saves. The way it worked was a bit different from others in my opinion.

I believe that is the Pouncer truck. It was part of( or still is idk for sure) of the Allen Pezo team. The Predator and Prowler trucks among others

That was 100% luck and actually a bad save attempt! He just gunned it when he could have saved it much easier! Trust I was there in person and there were several better saves that night alone!

This one might not be in the best 10 but I think is still note worthy Ryan's save at Philly in 2018 was awesome when I got to see it live. Maybe even some of his insane sidewall saves from 2014 should be on there.
