This is a huge video I've been working on. This video details the progression and well.. evolution of the Monster Jam World Finals! This video was so big it had to be split into 2 separate parts!

World Finals 9 is, without a doubt, the best ever. The track was amazing, the racing was great, and the freestyles were crazy. It checked all the boxes for what a memorable Monster Jam show needs. Also, was Jim Creten really not happy with Madusa and El Toro Loco taking a shot at his truck at World Finals 5 or is it just an assumption?

on the broadcast he makes a comment about how the year before he couldnt hit el toro who was on the container but they gave the okay when it was him

alex blackwell has stated he rolled captains curse in last ditch effort to slow down, he knew it wasnt stopping. plowing into the containers/stands straight on wouldve caused more damage so blackwell made the call to roll capt's curse

Fact: Jim Koehler ran a special paint scheme in 2001, carrying a no. 3 flag cuz one month prior to world final ii, NASCAR lost their hero, Dale Earnhardt, on a fatal crash on the final lap of the 43rd annual Daytona 500.

Proud to say that I was there live for 15 of the 21 WFs ever, notably 2006 straight through to the end of the Vegas era in 2018. Many tell me that I was there for the golden years of the biggest event in monster trucks

Oh the nostalgia. As a kid I used to watch the hour long youtube videos of the American broadcast from all the early world finals. KZfaq deleted all those videos a long time ago for copyright reasons I’d imagine, but it still sucked because those videos shaped my childhood. This video gives a great description of all of them

Such a great video. Can't wait for part two. World finals ten was my first world finals I ever got to see in person. I was absolutely hooked after that. I attended almost every single world finals in Vegas until it wasn't hosted there anymore.

I was at world finals 7. It's sadly underrated and idk why. Scorcho and monster mutt had amazing runs Dennis and meents drove to the edge to win the event. Tons of amazing talent with its stacked line up. Just all in all a great show

I always wondered why Tom stopped when Curse flipped over. I always believed it was to make sure everyone was ok before he crossed the line or something like that.

I remember watching those old school monster truck shows on a little tv in our kitchen, when i was really young. It was always in the morning like 6:30 a.m. when they showed this sometimes. I loved it.

I watched the complete pay per view version of #2, and was amazed at the carnage, especially in racing. I’d only seen the broadcast version of freestyle. I associate World Finals 5 or 11 to have a ton of crashes and wrecks, and I was surprised to see the drivers be so reckless in 2001.

Good video! Monster Jam World Finals I always referred to that event as an ultimate crash fest. I always been a fan of monster trucks since the mid 80's, but these events I would just shake my head at.

IMO, World Finals 1-9 was the golden era of the event. World Finals 10-12 were still good, but not quite as spectacular as previous ones. World Finals 13-15 was when dirt started to take over, but still had some crushable obstacles and good moments. World Finals 16-17 were just garbage. World Finals 18 was amazing. World Finals 19-21 were just really boring and were when the World Finals started having unnecessary changes added to it.
