More care info here ⬇️: 🍂Soil mix: 25% indoor potting soil- whatever is accessible to you! 25 % coco chips- it comes in a brick when you buy it. Then you saturate it and break it down 15 %orchid bark 15 % perlite 💦When to water: when the soil is almost completely dry (about 80 percent of the way). Light ☀️: Grow light: 10-12 hours a days or I keep mine a foot away from a south facing down that gets a couple hours of direct sunlight (about 1,000 foot candles if measuring with a light meter). Humidity: if your ambient humidity stays at 30-55 percent humidity that is more than fine. If you notice crisp on the ends, consider having it near a humidifier. Support: to encourage those fenestrated leaves, along with light, a support pole is important to strengthen the stems. I could add it now but I’ll waiting until it grows a little more. My favorite supports are bamboo stakes, wood stakes, or a trellis. If you found this helpful, consider following along for more plant care and plant projects. Leave any questions down below!

I don't have a Thai Constellation, but I did get a lovely young variegated Monstera on eBay for a very good price because it didn't have much variegation... I cut it back because it was a bit weak (thanks to your videos) and now have three of them - all beautifully variegated.

I’d like to argue it’s bad watering practices in not ideal soil that fails them 🤷♂️ I think you could grow it in any soil you just need to know how to water properly and most people don’t
@beverlyhickman6703 ай бұрын
I agree their watering practices need to change. Before I buy a plant,I am checking out how wet the soil is.

I bought one from Kroger and one from Walmart. Came home and instantly repotted. People were freaking out over it. “You have to let them acclimate to your house for at least a week!” The root damage that would have occurred in that week would have been terrible. The Kroger plant had soaking wet soil that you could have made mud balls with it was so heavy.

FYI y’all if you get plants at the grocery store, versus a plant shop, be mindful that they can accumulate more pests from all the fruit/veg that they may be transported with. I got mites on two plants that spread to my others bc I got a plant at the grocery store. Just something to keep in mind! Give any new plant a good wash down and check for pests on the stems/back of the leaves before placing them with your other plants.
