Well I've been playing since the Wii release and I'm happy to see more and more hunters joining the hype!

same, Tri on the wii got me into the series. so glad it did~

heh. tell me about it XD. i tried out 3 ulti way back. didn't like it much and it instantly lost me the moment water "fighting" started up -_-. but then i got 4ulti on a friends recomendation. and quickly fell in love the the games once i got the hang of the full movement systems, especialy using the long sword and charge blade. now its almost painful waiting for another 3 days just to get generations DX.

Just a small thing, but capcom confirmed all Mizutsune are males (females have very small fins and cannot turn them red), as well as Astalos and Glavenus, only Gammoth are female (all Gammoth hunted are females)

You can always look at it this way... I watched someone else play it for their channel, but now I get to play through it myself AND be able to read everything for myself!

Well, sorry to disappoint you, but there isn't a story like the one in 4U... There is still SOME story involving the four villages and the four flagships, but aside from that it's about as story intensive as 3U was.
