Now in the infernal spring, Amatsu has access to some new moves and much better control of it's move set. Will Narwa the Allmother be able to cope with this newly powered tempest.

Phew, Amatsu's more consistent lightning tail attacks in its own personal arena DO be the Saving Grace for him against the Allmother Narwa, as it's the attack which deals the most amount of damage. Also, Allmother looks really pretty in this arena! Her purple coloration just blends in with the environment!

Both Allmother and Amatsu have some very high damage output moves. Amatsu's multi hit lightning is far superior in terms of damage it seems, although Allmother is able to consistently flinch even big Monsters like Amatsu with some of its attacks. Very cool fight, I hope to see Apex Zinogre or Risen Crimson Glow Valstrax taking on Amatsu soon, just like in the acual Battle!

Basically neither monsters can dish out their true potential of able to use their complete moveset outside of their own special place/arena, kinda like how Safi'jiiva works in Iceborne.

@@MonsterSlayerSquad I do think that the size of the arena itself can be one of the factors of why Amatsu is able to pull it through. Mainly compared to the 1st fight at the Coral Palace, we often see Narwa to be able close the distance between herself & Amatsu, thus resulting her to be able to hit Amatsu more. We even saw Amatsu getting knocked down / momentarily immobilized for atleast Twice during the 1st Part fight in Coral Palace. Meanwhile in this arena due to its larger size, Amatsu is able to distance itself a lot more from Narwa, thus giving him the edge advantage, aside from having a pretty big HP advantage from the start of the fight. And obviously just like you've mentioned, making Amatsu to start at its final phase is able to give him some more extra advantage by being able to use its double lightning tail strikes more often during the whole duration of the fight. Thinking about it, those are pretty a lot of advantages for Amatsu there. Strange that we never see Allmother Narwa to perform her belly lightning beams which she performed 3 waves in a row during her final phase.

A much better showing for Amatsu than round 1, but tbf he was in phase 2 the entire time. Even though he couldn't match Narwa's VERY strong opening with his own ultimates he managed to match her in aggression and damage output. Still wish his ultimates dealt proper damage to monsters, ESPECIALLY the Full zone shock. But considering the only other monsters that could challenge him are the risens and gaismagorm I guess he doesn't really need it.

An excellent fight. The dual roar was superb, as was Narwa launching her star in the middle of Amatsu’s cyclone. Hopefully Capcom commits to some big boss showdowns in future titles. Really adds meat to the bones when they get to brawling.

@@MonsterSlayerSquad There is potential in the foundation, such as Safi'jiiva's apparent feud with Alatreon. Amusing to think that it's mainly smaller monsties turfing with the big ones currently, like Nergigante hunting Shara and Malzeno sabotaging Gaismagorm.

A surprisingly close fight, and though Allmother started with an HP disadvantage she started with a strong lead and was consistent throughout the fight. I think the most deciding factor is Allmother ended up more animation locked by her attacks, sometimes taking forever to get up.

Not saying the fight was rigged but there was a lot of very weird stuff like why was Amatsu's attack here at 10:24 allowed to hit so many times but Narwha's that use very similar patterns weren't. Also, the Narwha AI made her do so many attacks that were clearly not going to connect.

1: Amatsu's attacks deal more damage, plus its lightning trails have more hitboxes than narwa therefore hit more. 2: Amatsu is much faster than Narwa so it makes sense that she cant keep up that well. But it doesnt matter much because most attacks connect anyways due to the ridiculous amount of Aoe she has. Plus she can flinch amatsu somewhat often and the opposite doesn't happen due to game mechanics so if anything Amatsu's handicaped there for no reason. Not to mention Amatsu's ultimate attack doesn't damage monsters due to how it is coded.

I can't believe amatsu won, I thought narwa could win she defeated the darkness named Gaismgorm but he was alive. And now this...wow maybe amatsu will seals the darkness to defeat 21+ monster. he'll might be able to save the MH: rise by the darkness of MH: sunbreak and the 5 legendary risen heros can also protect the MH:rise too.

if their fights where canon then amatsu could have just trapped narwa in a hurricane that has a lot more water then normal and she could not do anything as water is an insolator for electricity and since it is so much more pressurized she could not evaporate it and if she tried to escape she would be ripped apart by the water and wind, but still it was a good fight.

@Terrible Monster yes, but amatsu's wind control is much stringer than the allmothers', so it could negate that action as wind in combat really just agrees to who ever has a more firm grip in controlling it, since wind goes off of currents. but thank you for your input as it seems it was more debatable then i thought .

@Terrible Monster amatsu can create winds more powerful than any natural disaster and the water amplifies it, and also ibushi cannot create a hurricane because hurricanes require water. And then ibushi's wind control is far less than in the cutscene and amatsu can create giant wind tunnel that covers almost the entirety of the infernal springs and can easily create large twisters while ibushi never does in the fight, and unlike amatsu, ibushi does not have high power hurricanes, thunderstorms, and monsoons that harm monsters to an extreme extent and passively kills monsters without trying too just by existing in the area. Overall amatsu has undebatibley stronger wind control then ibushi and all mother and since wind is a highly malleable substance, creating air aids amatsu as it could just turn it on you extremely easily.

@Terrible Monster a hurricane requires 70 degree or higher temperature water, moist air, and converging winds. You can search it up. Then in the amatsu cutscene the hurricane that was created passively, as amatsu would have spun around to create it if it was actively creating it, and the storms it actively creates are stated to far surpas that of natural disasters. The twister ibushi created just lifted up tree branches and rocks, so it did not do much either. And also the rock pillars are imbedded in the ground are very hard and dense and they are larger than the tree branches and rocks that ibushi's storm lifted, so amatsu can surpass ibushi's storms literally without trying.

@Terrible Monster also the only reason valstrax was able to enter it was that it shot right through the clouds, and amatsu never creates a storm as valstrax enters. Then you also have where a narwa could never have a hurricane follow her as natural rain is always very cold and not hot enough. In my other comment I explained how amatsu's storms are stronger than ibushi's and since amatsu's passive storms are more powerful than ibushi's, none of the passive storms allmother creates could be as powerful as amatsu because allmother never gets enhanced versions of ibushi's power, as seen in the fight.
