Monster Jam World Finals 22 has made it to Nashville, TN for an action packed weekend of Monster Truck action!! The weekend started off with a 12 truck parade down the world famous Broadway in Downtown Nashville! Carrying into the next day, the 24 Main Field drivers made their practice laps before qualifying later in the day! Racing Qualifying was cut short due to inclement weather with an entire round of Qualifying being excluded. At the end, Camden Murphy in Bakugan Dragonoid stood atop the podium with a time of 19.902! The day of the World Finals didn’t come without some drama. Originally, High Jump was supposed to take place after Two Wheel Skills but due to a storm delay it would take place before to give the track crew time to dry the track up. Ryan Anderson in Son-Uva Digger was able to successfully defend his title and bring home another World Championship! About 2 hours later and lots of work and effort, the track was dried up a bit for Two Wheel Skills. Originally 2 rounds, the weather delay again made an impact bringing it down to 1 round and 1 hit. Coming out on top claiming his FIRST world title on his birthday was Tyler Menninga in Grave Digger Purple! Racing was intense but it all came down to the final 2 drivers. Camden Murphy in Bakugan Dragonoid and Tristan England in Earth Shaker went head to head in the finals but coming out on top getting his first ever Racing Championship was Tristan England in Earth Shaker! To end off the weekend, 24 of the worlds most talented drivers came out for Freestyle! In one of the most unexpected results, Colt Stephens in ThunderROARus came out victorious and was crowned the World Finals Freestyle Champion for the first time!

Two years in a row the World Finals wasn’t sold out. And just to think, in 2005 when Madusa won her racing title and Jim Cretan won his freestyle run in the mud and the rain at World Finals 6, it was sold out. Great video tho was happy to see vs having to wait forever to see on MAVTV!

Maybe if they let em run wild a sec or two after the run and didnt cut em off right in the middle of a bodyroll- plus the girl power scoring has been ridiculous for a few years already- I wouldve bought a ticket- but Im in the northeast- would have been very disappointed with that show on a wet track like that-

Sickest single backflip in monster truck history!!! Saw a snippet last night and had no idea who was driving, now it all makes sense! Leduc is a badass and totally fearless man! The way he was driving the truck I think he was mad at the misfire and decided to just send it.

Watching Todd Celebrate after taking 1st after he got so (justifiably) upset after getting completely screwed last year made me so happy. He’s had such bad luck since the finals and I was so happy to see him finally catch a break. He may not have won the title, but he handed in a killer run and had the move of the entire night.

Man, 1 day for everything was too much, we sat there for 9.5 hours. 2 days is way better, or leave away the skills and high jump competitions for WF. this was just a little too much monsterjam in 1 day😅

You know, for how hype this year was supposed to be, I have to be disappointed. Credit to all the drivers for trying the hardest I have ever seen all of them try ever. That was a tough one. Easily the toughest world finals I have ever seen in my life. Two wheel skills in the rain? That really screwed over the arena drivers who've never driven in the rain. One track for everything? Wasn't a whole point of this new era of world finals so they could do something new in creative? They couldn't have waited to do it today in the dry? Like last year? Racing in the rain that's fair everyone's got a fair shot. High jump in the rain that's fair everyone's got a fair shot. Freestyle and two wheel skills in the wet? It really put a lot of the drivers at a disadvantage. But how convenient that the new truck with Colt Steven's driving wins freestyle. And he happens to get the highest judges score. Not dissing Colt Stevens as a driver he's a very good driver, but I don't think it was the best run of the night. For how epic last year was, I was really hoping for more, a lot of trucks broke because of the conditions and got shut down early. And it was really set up for the stadium drivers and it wasn't fair for the arena drivers. I have to give credit to the most underrated driver of the night and that's Jon Zimmer. He tried his absolute hardest against the absolute best in the absolute worst conditions. Respect to all the drivers on the highest level I have ever had and I don't like all of them. These guys fought hard last night. But I think the event organizer should've done a little bit more planning. I'm glad I didn't go because I feel like if I paid to go, I would have been very disappointed.

We had a trip planned out to go but last second it didn’t work out. When I saw it pouring yesterday from some peoples posts I was shocked. I agree with everything you are saying here. Drivers went as hard as they could given the situation. World finals really just needs to go back to Vegas like it just seems so obvious

@@miketrapper0464 He made good use of the track, had a great pace, much like Cole Vernard, but the wow factor was two backflips, arguably Son Uva Digger had a better run. As did other truck that came before.

@suiwee Ryan's run was incredibly underwhelming. I'm honestly surprised he didn't win just because he's the fan favorite. Cole deserved the win and it was taken from him because of a new sponsorship truck (not surprised).

Personally I thought Todd should've won, but I'm not too upset that Colt won. Todd's run excited me the most when I watched it, but he, Colt, and Cole all had great runs. Don't really get the people saying Ryan should've won. His run was decent but he didn't do anything that somebody else didn't already do, and had no big "wow" factor to speak of.

Idk Todd didn’t have enough momentum and didn’t do anything aside the giant backflip, Cole did have a great run but no wow moments, finally someone agrees with me about ryan because he just had momentum and nothing else, it was mid when it came to ryan Anderson runs, to me colt did deserve it because he had all that in his freestyle, good pace, good momentum, the biggest air of the night with a wicked save and two crazy backflips, I can understand Todd to some extent tho

There's no way Ryan didn't win that. I think MJ slipped something in the judges ears about selling more toys of their new baby, thunderrrrrRrroarrrrRrrrruss which is the dumbest name ever. Colts run was fine. But not gold.

@suiwee no the pros gave ryan a 7.4 which is more accurate, the fan judges overscored all night & the pros were much more accurate, so yeah its the fans fault for the bad score & that is why they need to be removed

@suiwee no they do know how to score, their scores are much more better then the fan judges who overscore way too high, they might even be underscoring on purpose to try & keep the fan judges scores from being more lopsided as many buddies of mine think or said they would do if they were scoring, bad company’s run just wasn’t better & not deserving of a win like tom was last year

Weston, Cole, and Chris K had the top 3 freestyles. Chris K is the only one I care for. This track was brutal. 1 hit each way, then basically drive off the pod to turn around. There wasn’t anything memorable from this. The consensus is backflips arent cool anymore, just because its a big one doesnt mean its any cooler. 2 minutes on this track was 1:30 of drive off the pod. Insane how much this series has digressed… this was a racing track with a freestyle track built around it. Was brutally bad.

I honesty would have liked to have been there in Nashville, but sadly I didn't make it there. And neither will I make it to Los Angeles. Two Wheel Skills Sucked, High Jump was OK, Racing 🏁 was the best part (along with the 9 Truck Jump), but Freestyle was a Joke. With due respect to Colt Stephens, Son-uva Digger had the best Freestyle run and should have been the Freestyle Champion. He got robbed. I honestly feel like the World Finals in Los Angeles would be The Best Monster Jam World Finals outside of Las Vegas because no worries about the rain because of the roof over our heads. Also, there should have been The MAX-D XX Encore that was missing like a WHOPPER from an abandoned Burger King: Gone and Non Existent. This World Finals was Lackluster and ¡El Terrible! And that's saying it from someone (Me) who should have been there but missed it.

Appreciate the comment. But coming from someone who’s been to the last 4 world finals, I agree that Two Wheel sucked. High Jump was better than I thought it would have been (it’s cooler in person). Racing was awesome, one of the best in a long time. And freestyle was good but the outcome is always going to have controversy. Personally I don’t even think Son-Uva Digger should have been top 3, his run was pretty basic and was missing a wow/highlight. I think Black Pearl should have taken it with ThunderROARus right behind him. Overall the world finals wasn’t the worst given the conditions the drivers/crew had to deal with.

Respect to the drivers but this years freestyle was kinda trash,no real wow moments other than the meg backflip watching it made me feel like i was watching just an ordenary show
