If park the bus works and wins titles, i would love it in LFC. Its not overrated. Its hated, but its the most effective tactic in football. Counter attacking and a solid defence will a lot of times beat the strong attack. Thats how he won the CL with Inter and Chelsea. He would never good go to LFC, i know, but its just wishful thinking for me. Mourinho might moan, bitch and overall be an arse. But he can win games where his team plays poorly and for that reason i would take him over pretty much any manager in the world.

Also leading Inter, a team in utter disarray, to the treble was an incredible achievement, and his supposed impact was confirmed when he left and the team descended back into chaos. Neither of those managers achieved anything like these feats in a single season. Just look at his trophy haul per season, it's incredible in itself, not to mention his home record. Also, since I said he was possibly the best tactically, I want to draw attention to his regular wacky decisions, that most often turn out to work brilliantly, many of which no one else would ever think of doing. Just last week for example, an incredibly important home game against arsenal, which Chelsea NEED to win to turn their season around. Mourinho is looking to regain the defensive power his team commanded last season. Who does he start in defence? He leaves out captain, leader, legend John Terry, in favour of young Kurt Zouma. As it happens, Zouma grabs the goal to break the deadlock and has an all round fantastic game. Obviously you will be able to find examples when his tactics don't work, but 9 times out of 10 they work, and work brilliantly.
