The month of June was intense in southern Montana. Colder temperatures, late-season snow, and tons of rain resulted in flooding through much of Southern Montana in mid-June. This video was made before the flooding. I hope that it can be a relaxing escape into nature no matter what you’re going through today.

Thank you for this video, I’m from British Columbia Canada and our province too had a devastating floods and landslides back in nov 2021 losing homes, businesses and farms which also ended up closing off our one and only major highway to the rest of Canada as well people losing their lives. I feel for your family’s community and those around. Your videos are beautiful and promotes how we can respect and love being within nature. Since so many people are now heading outside more than ever they can turn to videos like this which brings awareness and knowledge on the wilderness ❤️.

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” ‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭NIV‬ Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” ROMANS 10:9-11 “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame” “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭19:10‬ ‭ God wants us to believe in His One and Only Son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, who died for our sins :D When we truly believe in our hearts that Jesus is the Son of God, who died for our sins so we could have eternal life with God, we are saved, and have life in Jesus Christ 💗 Jesus genuinely loves you, and always waits for you to come to Him 🕊💕 May God bless you all ❤

Amanda,, love this video young lady, I live in montana for 32 and one half years now. Moved here from New York City. In 1990, I'm to old to go hiking ( knees won't take it anymore )but plenty of camping , fishing , hunting, . etc,,,, funny though I was never in montana before I moved here and all I knew about montana was Custer was killed somewhere in montana.. Came in a uhaul truck with a wife and 3 kids, ( talk about an adventure well try that one day )it's about 2100 miles from where I lived in NY.never been here with 3 kids and a wife . looking back I don't know how I had the nerve to do that back then..,, I cleaned that up pretty good. Now I'm here longer than most people I know are alive !!!! That's why I think I love all your video's so much. PS I live about 50 miles from Red Lodge, so I see the floods first hand... I hope you read this THANK you Frank from montana......

Wow, I can't believe you moved your whole family out to Montana without visiting it first! I'm sure that must have been quite the adventure. Sometimes you just need to take the leap. When I moved to Utah, I didn't really plan to move here, I was just moving "somewhere" and Utah is where I landed. I have an aunt who lives here, so that's the only reason even heard of Salt Lake. Thank you for sharing Frank!

I wish I would have watched this before our Canadian Rockies trip in June. They were 4-6 weeks behind on the snow melt. Lots of the long and higher elevation hikes were closed due to high snow/avalanches. 1. I need hiking poles, my knees ache and lock up on steep descents. I’m not familiar with all of the hiking pole tips do or are but having the discs would have been so helpful once we hit the higher elevation with the snow. 2. Good advice on putting on the jacket to keep warm as soon as you stop. This happened after a long break during the hikes. Sweaty clothes and sitting, it gets cold really quick. 3. My husband and I found 88 Acres bars were great. Had an array and these were our fav, really liked all of their options. Tasted really good instead of cardboard or some weird textures some bars have. These were plain delicious.

Thank you for taking us along for the hike! Montana is a beautiful state. I heard about the flooding; glad your dad's house was okay. I hope your training went well too. What a cool hike! I was so sad to see all of the flooding in Yellowstone. My favorite bars are Larabars (pineapple and peanut butter chocolate chip are my favs) and Luna bars. I also like Kind bars-- the target brands for the Kind bars and Larabars are OK too! A big thing for bars for me is that they're easy to chew.. This might be weird but RX Bars are sooo chewy that sometimes the last thing I want to do is chew super hard when I'm already gassed from a hike, lol. Also can't beat the original nature Valley bars!

They don’t taste gluten free. They are so delicious and don’t taste dry or chalky like many protein bars!! They also have bites which is nice when you want a couple bites and not a whole bar.
