Ooooh, finally one of my three most played ships, over 1.000 games in this one. I love it for most of the same reasons you so good pointed out. I have a slightly different build but man I love this ship! Thank u BobLyn for showcasing good old Monty

It’s the USS Iowa, USS Missouri, USS Wisconsin, USS New Jersey are the 4 Iowa Class Battleships. I served in the US Navy on the USS Long Beach CGN-9 and I had a Buddy on the USS Wisconsin during the first Gulf War.. I wish WOWs Blitz would come out with a USS New Jersey and USS Wisconsin in Game I think since they were real and survived WW2, Korean War, Vietnam War, and The Persian Gulf they should have them in the game in their WW2 or Korean Builds..🤷🏻‍♂️👍

Yes, great BB! Ive been more about St Vincent & Chris Columbo of late so when i went back to Montana it felt huge & slow turning BUT those guns still SLAP!😊 The original T10 BB I still havent got is Yamato, is it still worth the grind?

thanks a lot Bob, it helps me to build my montana with her 406mm caliber among a swarm of other tier10 ships. By the way, i am considering using gold equip for hindenburg while don't own any camouflage for it, just use free camouflage per month. So do you have any suggestions for that? Is it worth? Thank you 😊

Finally you saw the light. Not only Vincent can be considered as the best bb. New ships are coming with extra advantages and still old ships are good enough.

As a bb main seeing you constantly shoot long-range salvos on dds, especially with AP shells, hurts 😂 A little hint: NEVER shoot a dd unless you really have to (so if you are 1v1, if the dd is chasing or yoloing you, other than that don't). Especially if you are alone, against multiple ships and surrounded by islands. But other than that, if you have someone on your flank who can deliver decent protection against destroyers and spot properly, Montana can be a beast. One of the most underrated ships.

honestly i shoot ap more than he because by the time i switch the dd will be gone, and AP can do some absolute bullshit damage with fullpens lmao like when playing DD I worry about Vermont about as much as Colombo sometimes

@@LiteBosmark You know what, 10 shots of AP would be equal to like 5 or 6 shots of HE on a DD damage-wise. And if you are far away from the destroyer, that makes significant difference. It's ok to shoot AP if you have it loaded and need to shoot asap, usually you don't play battleships by changing shell types every now and then (it's a huge waste of time), rather wait a few seconds for another target to show or shoot at something else. Because if you start changing shells when already reloaded, not only do you risk your DD running away but also waste 20+ seconds, and then having to change back to AP it's another 20+ seconds. This is something you can afford with Repiblique, Bourgogne or BBs with rapid reload, but not on something that has a long reload like Vermont. Now if you are very close to a DD, then you just have to shoot AP in order to save yourself.

I’m running a DoT tank build on my des moines as well, got it up to 31,75%. Especially when playing des moines this is useful because you can then use the damacon for when your forward turret gets shot off (twice in every game on average lol). And george dewey helps a lot as well😂
