Grandma asked what I wanted my senior trip to be, and I said turkey hunt in Montana, and opening afternoon I got it done!! Most intense and most exciting public hunt I’ve ever been on!

On my bucket list! I’ve gotten 3 eastern Tom’s with by bow, now want a Miriam fan with the white tips! Purring & pipping really fires them up after yelping has already gotten them on their way to check out who these new birds are. Decoys to me are just as important as good calling. Gives the bird something else to focus their attention on.

Arrived back in Arkansas on May 18th from Montana, Wyoming and South Dakota. This hunt extends my hunts. The Merriam's gobble is addictive and their beauty, especially the white tip ones, are special. Thanks for sharing the footage. You guys be safe.

Finally got the chance to catch up on these videos. To start off congrats Aaron on the commitment of your life and also to your bride. Iv been to south Dakota many times and I chuckled when I seen that wall drug sign cause you see about 400 miles of those on the way. This Turkey tour definitely has been epic and never disappointing. Congrats on your first Montana tom and way to stay patient and wait for a lethal shot. It's been real and as always be safe and stay healthy my friend.

Good turkey season fellas.i have until the end of May to seal the deal on a gobbler,hopefully 2. Its seems to be tough here in western NY but definitely not impossible.i learn alot watching how you guys setup and approach the turkeys you are hunting.i havent had alot of luck finding birds to hunt.if I do find some I am confident I could call them in close enough for a shot.we will see what this next week brings.its been in the 80s and 90s here and the ticks are the worst I've ever seen in my life.thanks again and keep up the good work.

Pack an emergency candle with your tent (they're usually unscented). rub the candle all over the teeth of the unzipped zippers, both sides. It'll make the zippers way less troublesome. Bow string wax will work too. Tents always have janky zippers

Was that a Type 2 BMA? Because a Type 1 all you have to do is sign in at the sign-in box and keep your stub with you. OnX links to the BMA map & info sheet through the MT FWP website, shows where you can access, drive, hunt, no-shooting zones, etc.
