If you move there or anywhere don't bring or create the problems that caused you to move in the first place. I have seen that happen in Arkansas where a friend of mine lives. Land prices and property taxes have gone up. The same will happen there when a lot of wealthy people move in if it hasn't already.

Nightmare road is that one up to bogus basin ski area near Boise. super sketchy. no guard rails. and 1000ft drops on the sides with no trees in places. I lived in Mccall a few years ago too and drove down to Boise and the ski area. the drive down wasn't too bad though not that great but the road up to the ski area reminded me of all my nightmares I have. I don't think I'll ever go there again.

I love Montana BUT I do not recommend living here if you own a pet. The emergency services in NW Montana rank 1 in scale of 1-10 with 10 being best. To even get pet seen in an emergency you have to call when they open doors (6pm)first and then its first come first served . Good luck getting anyone on phone first. If don’t call ahead time they send you to Missoula. 2 plus hours away. I hate to say it but NW Montana emergency vet services are the worst I have ever seen. Granddaughter almost lost her dog because she didn’t call emergency services first and they turned her away snd told her to go to Missoula. 2 hours away. My little dog is seriously sick right now and I have to wait till tomorrow to see if anyone can see her. I pray she makes it through the night. I’m elderly, disabled and don’t drive. 🙏🏻☹️😢

My little sweet Piper passed away at 5:30 am. She was only 4 years old. I’m going to miss her so very much. I love you Piper. Thank you for being a friend.
