You certainly do take care of your parents...once all is settled they will have a lovely home--it already looks great and very functional. Love seeing the whole family helping the older ones get settled in their refurbished and improved home!

I would love to hear more of the singing. My dad grew up Joe Wenger and he was the oldest child. When it was my grandparents turn to have the youth singing at their farm I just loved to be there to hear the singing. God bless ya"ll.

Joas, your parents are very sweet and humble people. Their updated home looks wonderful. They are all on one level and hopefully keeps them safe. My parents lived in a ranch home and it truly was a life saver. My Dad had one of his legs amputated and with a modification to the bathroom door, it kept him able to stay in the house until a few months before his death five years ago. He sat in his wheelchair for a long time during the day and was able to get around things easily. We had ramps built on the backside of his house to give him easy access to get down onto the driveway and sidewalks. Your family is large and makes the work easily done by so many hands involved. You know the saying, “many hands make the work light”. The house is beautiful.

I enjoy seeing your videos. I am blessed with a large family. We have 32 grands, and more coming! Our family gathers weekly for Bible study and very often for work projects spanning, cider making, construction projects, butchering, etc. We have been butchering 13 hogs in recent years. We did multiple cider days this year. The big cider day made 228 gallons of cider plus gallons of apple butter and apple sauce. Lots of hands accomplish a lot of work in a short time.
