A beautiful place to take the kids. We took our oldest son there many moons ago ,when he was 5-6. We really had a wonderful time there. We plan to go again ,so our youngest son at 6,can enjoy the beautiful ocean creatures . Thanks for sharing !

I have a few questions and comments for Julianne: 1) Does your mother home school you? 2) Or do you go to some kind of advanced or private grade school? 3) You must be a very good student who listens well to your teacher(s) and probably loves to learn things at home too. I'll bet your parents don't have to remind you to do your schoolwork, do they? I'm VERY impressed with your ability to pronounce such difficult words and remember all that information about Clownfish. People who read a lot of books have a better vocabulary than those who watch too much TV. I'm kind of wondering, is there a bookcase in your house that is turning into a library? Are you familiar with the phrase, "Readers are leaders"? Well, you're on your way! What is also surprising to me is how comfortable you are in front of a video camera. Goodness! You did better than many, many adults would do in that situation. There were several spots showing your pretty smile and excitement that ended up putting a smile on MY face. They were at 0:52 & 0:56 where we could all see your reflection like you were inside the tank - cool! And then there was the direct one at 1:40 where we could see that big smile. It was also interesting to notice that you smile with your eyes besides your mouth; that's a special gift I wish I had. I'm 70 years old and learned a few things from you today. I love to learn and it's obvious that you do too. :-) Congratulations, Julianne, on an excellent report! (P.S. I made some mistakes in writing this, so I had to go back and correct them with the edit function.)

We have a relatively new one here in North Carolina but I haven't been to it yet. I even liked the older one it replaced but the two are simply incomparable. Thank you for sharing this ... don't think people know this but it is extremely therapeutic to even watch videos like this with water and fish ... and you can actually test this on yourself by measuring blood pressure. Results can be quite impressive ! ... Did I mention this video *_rocks ? ! !_* ...

Truly precious moments with the grandchildren. That place is so fantastic! Get the kids a burger across the street at the Burger Joint. Has a nice patio deck if the weather permits otherwise neat old time effects inside abound. Great times at the Aquarium with hands on experiences.

I can see a lot of you in your daughter. She did a great job remembering all those facts - even the harder words. Mommy and Daddy must be very proud of her. My favorite part was the seahorses; my least favorite was a tie between the jellyfish and the octopus - had to look away! (shudder!)

Each year they put on a one day open house but don't announce the date until the last minute. Last year the wife and I just happened to be there and wow what a place. The whole purpose of the day is to inspire kids on deep sea research. bp
