As the Aquarium only has 1 "Open Sea" feeding show per day, it is one of the main highlights when visiting.

Thanks for filming this exhibit! I thought it was the best one! When you do go to the Monterey Bay aquarium, please go to Open Ocean feeding at 11 AM! They only do it once a day. You will not regret it!

I was there this week. Don't miss this aquarium! The "Open Sea" feeding was at 11:00 AM; it is so cool!

How big is this exhibit?

According to the Aquarium's "Facts & Figures" page, the Open Sea exhibit's tank holds 1.2 million gallons. It's 90 feet across, 52 feet front to back, 35 feet tall.

Surprisingly not; the Aquarium staff keep them all well fed. :)
