In a senior league, I've been throwing old Faithful Storm Crux Pearl. Been bowling terribly with it. 185 is well below the normal 210 I've been averaging. Got a storm DNA pin down, the first pin-down layout I have ever tried. I love this ball and I love this layout. It's so smooth and controllable. The first time out shot 693 with it.

Darren. Thanks for the bag update. Sorry to see the Xponent get cut, but not entirely surprised the Summit got cut. Both are great pieces, but the other ones may be more versatile. Thinking of adding the PI or Magic for that strong asymm slot at the top and either Gold Label or Blackout for the middle/bottom of the bag. Doing well with what I currently have, but as you say "if you ain't drillin', you ain't tryin'"

This video made my night because I just bought 4 new balls eternity pi, tour dynamix, veb and hustle m/m after deciding to step down to 14lbs and felt I built a decent arsenal and then saw this and felt like Darren validated my choices. Now to convince my boyfriend I need the new tnt or zen gold label to finish it 😅

As you mentioned, you change the surface on your virtual blackout do you mind me asking you changed it too. As I too have one and I wanna make a perform a little earlier on in my bag as well. Love the content nevertheless!

Really great explanation of slots 1-6 with some alternatives to replace them in some slots. I'd love to take fewer balls with me, although I know what each of them does for me, so usually it's not a problem.

TNT Infused is interesting to me. How does it compare to original Zen? Right now that's my middle ball in the bag.

i would really like to get a zen gold label and virtual black out, but the thing that really bothers me is the black out is the color black and the gold label is a super dark purple. when i first started bowling i never understood why bowlers have a preference in color and what looks good to the eye, but now i realize that i in fact dislike dark one color balls. my first ball ever was a night road. so much surface change and i couldnt get it to work as a 2 handed bowler, and even then i hated watching it down the lane. i also have a track stealth pearl and is that ball a beast? YES, but do i wish it was a different color like the paragon pearl or supra rally or even the M+M. omg yes. i wish i could have the zen and blackout but im afraid to get it and not like them because of the color which really doesnt look good to my eyes going down lane. i feel like i can visibly see them slow down to turn the corner and for some reason i dont see that with other balls

I wish my hustle wine would act as you say your hustle does. I need a low end ball that won’t hook the entire lane on the burn. At this point I basically kill my wrist and chuck the ball across the lane at like 20mph and hope it doesn’t overhook. Im tempted to get a raw hammer just to try. Any other suggestions for a real low end ball, spi or otherwise?
