A tip for filling up on gas; fill up your car when you only have a half a tank left , it's actually cheaper I find , gas where I live is expensive too and it actually has helped saved money

I find this to be true also! For some reason gas just goes faster after hitting that halfway mark.

I love your budgeting videos. I always tried to pay off debt before but after watching a few of your videos, I am going full scale and my husband and I should have $16000 paid off by October (a car and three credit cards). Thanks for inspiring me to kick debts butt.

Just a tip. Try using Frixion pens for your budget. That way if anything changes, you can erase. With budgets, that will happen. I have been sing Frixion pens in my EC this year and I am very happy with it.

Awesome video!! I did help budget for my boyfriend too since hes bad at budgeting but eventually I stopped because I thought I had it all in my head and it wasn't pretty so I didn't want to really look at it but this inspired me to go out and start budgeting again and do it right!

Thanks for sharing. At some point I really want to sit down and do a budget. You are really inspiring me. I support you in keeping KZfaq out of it as that's a different thing. I have a second job and that actually goes into a separate account and is called my fun money, that's what gets to buy makeup or planner supplies or eat out. If there's no money there's no spending. I refuse to use any of my primary income to support frivolous things. It's helped me a lot actually.

Must be nice living at your parents house. Expenses go up a lot when u have your own place. Mortgage/ rent, water, electric, gas, sewer, hoa and don't forget about those lovely property taxes!

Yes, it is very nice! I had been living on my own for a very long time before this little "blip" in my life. It just works out that I could have a place to stay to save up for my down payment. So I'm definitely grateful to my parents for allowing me to stay in their home, rent free. My budget videos will look very different once I purchase a home. Thanks for watching

ew jealous! gas in my city is like $2.35 a gallon right now. NY is so stinking expensive! I really want to start tracking my expenses and start paying down my debts in 2017!

our fuel prices are up right now as well especially with the holidays.... we are around $2.30 right now, last week it was just over $2.

Here in Texas, our gas prices are lower. $1.87-2.00. We have a lot of gasoline industry producers, so we get a small break on that.

I was under the impression that KZfaq's terms don't let you divulge how much you receive. Of course I could be wrong, but I'm sure I've heard other KZfaqrs say that.

Aw our dog has seizures also and is on 2 meds to control them, keppra and pheno, it's been well controlled since he was put on them(had a major cluster in August and scared me to death!). We get keppra at Costco, such a good price for it. New subscriber here, love the budget video!

When I heard gas was 1.99 or 2 bucks that's so so amazing . I live in LA and it's around 2.90 or 3 bucks a gallon lol

do you have any tips on how to do a budget if you don't know the weekly/monthly income? if that makes sense lol like my husband works construction. some weeks he just works 40hrs. some weeks he works 60hrs & some weeks he will work just a couple of days. so we never really know how much he will work & how much he will make.

My finace works ag contruction and gets paid weekly, but due to the weather it makes it kind of difficult to budget because in the winter his checks really vary. What we do is each week of the month he has one bill to pay, once that is paid he has the rest for whatever he wants. Its not perfect but the system is getting us by until he can find something with more consistent hours.

ivana hill I am debt free so I do not have a car payment. I am also studying at my parents summer home temporarily while I save up for a down payment on a home

I had no idea there were "Budget With Me" videos! I love it! Have you heard of Ellevest? It is this great goal-oriented investing platform for women. It could help you invest for your down payment or retirement or whatever you want. I recommend it or you and your viewers to check. Super simple and cool!

Why would you pay for renters insurance if you aren't paying to rent and then going and buying a home? Just a question.. but good idea on budgeting!! I'm definitely going to try this

Brianna Vangorder renters insurance protects my belongings to be replaced in the event of needing to claim insurance. The insurance my parents have, protects their items only.

this is my first time watching your budget video and I'm loving it. as to your cash allowance if you have left over from that month do you carry it over to the next month so you have a little extra more or do you put it back into your savings?

Christina Chen I keep it in the same category. So for clothing, I may or may not use that cash during the month. Especially if I want to save up for a larger purchase. I just roll the money each month. Thanks for watching
