Keeping her grip... I am not a Judoka but I noticed that Deguchi hangs onto her grip and keeps it to her advantage. She beat her rival Tsukasa Yoshida at the 2019 World Championship 57kg final using a similar approach. I hope she keeps training hard and gives the performance of her life at the Tokyo Olympics. She may be a Canadian Citizen but she has Yamato Damashi. Ike, Ike Christa Senshuu!
