Agreed. They should work on the sound isolation in the set (there is a lot of ambient noise that a sound engineer should be able to cut down on) and the framerate should be lowered, high framerates make people look a little bit uncanny and it seems to be a tendency endemic to canadian broadcast media (that's why older canadian film and television shows from the 90s and early 2000's have a 'certain look' about them)

Someone from Canada should obviously start an organized crime podcast channel on KZfaq. Canadian OC the last 20 Years or so is similar to the levels of violence in America from the 60’s-80’s. Americans aren’t close enough to the source to understand all the moving parts and all the players aside from the ones everyone knows but as an American- I find the Canadian mafia extremely fascinating. I love studying mafia history in general but it’s just wild that history in a sense is literally playing out before our eyes. There is just so much potential content for this subject.

I'm not surprised that hitmen from Ontario were showing up in Montreal. When the Musitanos were getting knocked off in Hamilton, the neighbours were reporting Quebec plates in the neighborhood.
@BostonsF1nest
@BostonsF1nest Жыл бұрын
Well yea- your chances of getting caught are a lot lower if you don’t use someone who’s also living in the same neighborhood or city. The fact that they were from Ontario is irrelevant tho really. These are global organizations. No one is out of their reach anywhere. There’s more politics that go into a hit than just where someone is from also.

Pietro Poletti is a wealth of Knowledge about organized crime in Montreal. He identifies really good information upon which efficient strategies may be developed to lower or drastically reduce crime in Montreasl. His services should be retained by the Mtl police force to train the newcomers. As a journalist you should make a rightup on all what Pietro mentioned and publish it in the Gazette. There is lots of room for improvement to links policing and politics. The prison sentences handed out by our justice system is totally rediculous.. Its a major importance to make people feel safe and the only way of doing that is to listen to Pietro. So make all efforts to make this happen.

*Once Vito Rizzuto died things started going downhill. It seems that things have stabilized a bit but there are still fringe groups that want to take out Leonardo to make a statement. Balso tried and lost. What people fail to understand is the strength of the Rizzuto Crime Family. Vito did what John Gotti wanted to do with his crime family. And that was put it together to where even if they died it would continue unabated. Vito made inroads and gained incredible loyalty from crime groups and families all around the world. The Rizzuto's will be here a while.*

How Human Nature Works Human nature is the desire to receive, also called “desire to enjoy,” and it functions by receiving what is beneficial to itself and rejecting what is harmful. Everything in our lives is built upon this calculation where we first try to distance ourselves from harm, and then seek how to draw ourselves closer to what is beneficial. Human nature also includes a multilayering of systems that work simultaneously on still, vegetative, animate and human levels. One of those systems is our bodily one, which operates involuntarily. If our bodies are healthy, then they know what is good for them and draw that goodness to themselves. After the bodily system, there is the emotional system, which also functions relatively according to instinct. From the emotional system, we move to the mind, and from the mind to the intellect, and so on. That is, we have systems over systems that concurrently work on receiving what is beneficial and rejecting what is harmful. Such is human nature and the essence of our lives. Our every desire, thought and action operates according to the calculation, “How can we receive what is most beneficial to us and reject what is harmful?”

I really like Pietro but he is not realistic about getting police involved at the community level in a city like montreal with as many enclaves as it had. my good friend was profiled by the police and wrongly treated because she and her boyfriend were laughing on the main. You have to identify yourself *if* you commit and infraction, but for some cops the infraction is being alive. She has sadly since passed, and she was an amazing person. whether you want to admit it or not, us french canadians are pretty racist because our current idea of culture is emulating France, and France racism in the style of Marine Lapen has informed the CAQ. Putin's flooding of Europe with refugees has emboldened francophone police and politicians to engage in covert (and not so covert) enthophobic policies against visible minorities. I've been able to walk between the raindrops of police all my life because I am pure laine, my friends have not been so fortunate
