I'm Norwegian too, and like others have said, it sounds more like a norwegian speaking german or dutch. Btw, i love the part where he goes "høre snøre heste klørne", almost sounds like he's trying to read norwegian tounge twisters a couple of places. Anyways, monty python is epic, and the referances to norway throughout the shows and films are hillarious.

Danish sounds quite unlike the others as well. Written Danish and Norwegian are almost the same but the sound has almost nothing in common. No rolling "r" in Danish, no "sh" sounds, the melody is completely different and most consonants are muted and so on.

Good to hear that you like it. Ever been in Norway before? And that quote I put in, that was from Petter Solberg, Norways greatest rally driver. It was after a race he said "But but, it's not only only". Now that's typical Norwegian-English. The reason why, is because Norwegian and English is mostly different when it comes to building sentences. Norwegian is a difficult language, as you may have noticed. Well, I don't like British humour that much. But I gotta say, Monthy Python rules!
