Regardless of the politics of the DPRK, I enjoy the value it places on art as an important role in society. Many societies devalue artists work even though it is all around us and all consuming, the DPRK holds the artist as an important national resource.

The work that goes in to each film on this channel makes it one on which I always let the ads play in full - believe me, that requires a degree of sacrifice at times, but is a tiny but practical way in which to pay respect the efforts made on here to enlighten us. Thank you!

For the Arch of Triumph, I would welcome a more in depth treatment. For example, I have seen video of the inside of the structure. I would welcome knowing whether, like the Parisian analogue, one can enter and ascend to the top, and images of the various art outside and any inside.

True, but "continued" friendship being the key term. Russian diplomats often visit the tower as a symbolic gesture of friendship - certainly it should stand as a symbol of continued friendship between the DPRK and all the former soviet states, but it's just Russia these days.

Yes you can, the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun is open to foreign visitors, if you're travelling post-pandemic, check with your travel company if your tour is headed there OR if you're on a private tour, ask for them to work it in to your itinerary.
