You had the line and a run. You held your line and he came down on you. If he wanted he could have made half a dozen moves to block you to try to keep you from passing like he already had done earlier.

Considering how aggressive he had been, the whole race I say you needed an aggressive move yourself. It would've looked like a dive bomb from his perspective

I agree. That driver made TONS of last minute moves to close the door too late throughout the race. In this case, he left the door wide open, Rory was only 0.125 behind and went for it. The other driver didn’t anticipate it and tried to close the door too late. Sucks for him!

Jury’s out - I don’t think he expected you to come from so far back so was slow to close the door - we’ve all done it at some point - you can claim there was a gap, he can claim you had to go onto the grass and hit him to get past - you pays your money and you’s take your choice…..

It's one of those that if I was him I would say "he pushed past me" and if I was you I would say "you left the door open & you closed it too late". But interesting earlier in thexrace he blocked you late. Stewards would probably have given a warning for his late blocking

He was a terrible weaver, but I don't think you had that last corner - I'd say you were too far back and used him as a barrier! Love your content though, I've learned at lot of self-control from you. I really want to know where you get that "Go!" setting from; no matter how I say it, it makes no difference to my acceleration :)

Great move my man. The amount he was weaving, that last lap especially, even in the breaking zones. If they were racing fairly then you would've had them way before the last corner

After Nanix shoved their way into many moves, they can't complain about the move. As for the move itself: You sent it on the inside line They didn't defend (which would've won the corner), Then pretended you didn't exists and sent it onto the inside line where you were positioned. Simply put, hard, but fair racing.

Last move was fine, old mate left the door open wide enough for a parade of elephants to fit through. It's the last corner of the last lap and he can't expect to simply be allowed the full racing line when there's a car 0.15s behind. Of course you're going to look up the inside. He should've just defended.

He should've gone defensive prior to entering the turn. He realized his mistake mid turn and tried to squeeze you out and then got in their feels and tried to PIT maneuver you. Great racing mate!

Going off rallycross experience since that's really all I watch, I think your move at the end toed the line of being okay. He left a gap, you took it and imo were far enough up that he should have stopped pulling over to close what little gap was left. Any further back and that dive would have been a no go.

Give the person you over took a loom, he was weaving all the way down the straight. And there was easily a car width on the outside of the corner. Good combative tight racing on the final courner. P 1rd all the time.

A bit marginal as you were 2 wheels on the grass but considering the blocking he was doing it was justified, especially since he left the door wide open. I think I would have defended and made you try the outside line. 👍

You initially weren't close enough for takin the inside but then he allowed tht move to happen..you showed ur intention and he only then tried to cover you too late into corner..he didnt like it cause he ballsed it up..classic..good move good win

Great first race, good second race, but I'm going to play DA against a lot of the support you have on the last move. Had you hugged the curb on the last corner I'd call it a clean inside pass, but you bumped doors on the way in, came out wide because you were too fast to keep the inside line, and muscled him out of the way as you went a little wide through the turn. I think the stewards would have docked just enough to give him 1st place.

That's true but throughout the race his driving was very aggressive and pull down into him multiple times. His penalties would have added up significantly and would have lost at least 1 or 2 more positions.

@@AdLamb "Yeah, but once you have the inside, the corner is yours." - That philosophy excuses dive bombing. I'm suggesting that's what he did. The other guy broke at exactly the right moment, and Rory broke late. Rory's car didn't get alongside the other until the other broke. Then because he broke late, Rory couldn't keep his car tight to the inside curve, but was swept outwards by his own momentum, bundling the other car wide.

Your car fit there so you physically were in that space. Everything is fine he shouldn't have left space there should've defended that corner by going on the inside tightly. You were able to get into that space without touching him end of story. You deserve the win.

Try the Megane FF is a good car against Mazdas .. and see if you can beat them.. also the Peugeot FF it is really good in corners and i won one race with it. You should try it

Last lap race 2 was fine imo - you made clear that you were taking the inside long before the brakes, and had a bit of car along side before outbraking p1. They had plenty of time to come over to defend when you changed lines out of the draft and chose not to until on the brakes. Last lap of any race, anyone else is making the same exact move.
