This week, we moochdocked at our friend's place near the Smokies & visited a Cavern with a Waterfall - Tuckaleechee Caverns - and Larry was interviewed by Buzz Brainard ( & Nick Ultra) at the Music Row Happy Hour Margaritaville, in Nashville, Tennessee, while dry camping at Anderson road COE - with some serious weather scares. ‪@CORPSCONNECTION‬

This episode was chocked full of DMC goodies - Alice's penchant for collecting t-shirts and visiting standout landmarks, and Larry's funny antics like shaking the bridge and bugging out about bugs. I loved the Sirius XM and driving simulator experiences. Thank God you dodged the worst of the tornado - I empathize with the people whose lives have been upended by the spate of storms in that part of the country. We went to Margeritaville last December and had a blast. I was in line at 0530, #3, and we just formed a little group of the first 4 groups and hung out together until happy hour was over! Meeting Buzz was great!

Ralph, there’s a “fine line” between mooching and squatting 😆 The cavern waterfall & suspension bridge were so cool - so close to our friends house. The unofficial nickname of Knoxville is Scruffy City. Back when Knoxville was awarded the World's Fair in 1982, a New York Times reporter said they couldn't believe a "scruffy little city" got the World's Fair. It is also the headquarters of Pet Safe and a very dog friendly city with dog parks everywhere. Hopefully Scruffy enjoyed his stay in Scruffy City.

We didn’t do much research because in Scruffy City, we were spending most of our time with our old friend - I just found the Cavern Waterfall that was close by. Hi Larry and Alice! I loved this video you are so funny! I needed that laughter. Glad you mooched docked with old friends hopefully you are welcomed there again. Nice you got to see the guys from Sirius Radio. I feel the same way Alice hate storms because I was in a tornado in Michigan and I was in high school and I ran home turned on the tv and they said take cover now. So I called my mom at worked left a message about the storm and took my dog and went into the bathroom tub. And it by passed our house. My sister lives 45 min away from Nashville and we called her about the storm and they were fine. Thank goodness. Glad you survived the storm you both and Scruffy. Can’t wait until your next video. Another great video, you guy’s are funny and serious at the same time. Alice you have your hands full with Larry for sure cavern was beautiful don’t forget the magnets! Scruffy doesn’t like being left alone, and let’s y’all know it. You both are awesome! We live in southeast Georgia, I’ll take hurricanes over tornadoes any day not much warning from tornadoes.

It's the Crazy Across America Tour. It's a world tour when you're hitting multiple global destinations, so yours is an RV tour across America. Trip infers a single destination, and travel is more of a verb than a noun.

Most of the COEs we stay in are difficult to get into. I think it's because they were built back when RVs were smaller. Once in Arkansas we had a pull through site and even that was rough to get to. Looks like you're havin' fun! Hope things go smoothly!!

Glenda, 💯 Same with many state parks - built when RVs were smaller. Yes. This COE was a pull through that was tough. We had a pull through in a Louisiana State Park that we had to back in - it was too tight to pull through 😁 We are getting back in the groove of traveling - thanks 🤗 Alice

Had the exact same cabinet issue happen on our first trip in our new 337RLS. We stored a gallon of water in both the left nd right cabinets. The same side that failed on yours collapsed in ours. We rebuilt it with sub-frame supports so no more issues. Agreed it was cheaply made at the factory with staples holding it together. The other thing we discovered was the rear sofa had already broke free of the hold down straps so we added a few more of them.

You actually can get good over the air tv reception at that campground along with good cell service, you don't really have to use Starlink.It's right in my backyard and have been going there for a long time. Memorial Day used to be a big drunken party event there back in the day. The powered waterfront sites are hard to get but are really cool.

Going caving around Knoxville and Downtown Nashville Music Row look fun. It has been one storm after another lately in Tennessee. You guys should have stopped by Sevierville, TN the hometown of Dollywood- Splash Country and lots of go carts and pancake restaurants and a really big Buc ee's. Check out the new Camp Margaritaville RV resort to recharge.

Ron, it was a lot of fun. We have stayed in Sevierville before - we have a campground tour for Riverside. Maybe next time we are through that way, we will hike Dollywood. We hardly do private campgrounds because of cost and amenities we don’t use. But thanks for the info Alice

The cavern was near our mooching site - so house was our shelter. But every campground we go to usually has some sort of solid bathhouse we could use. Alice

I was going to ask the same. we were in Clarksville 3-4 weeks ago.( an hour away from Nashville, give or take ) and our Scruffy ( yes we have a Scruffy too) was picking up 5-8 ticks a day. I was getting 1-3 a day. on me not given time to set up shop. but poor puppy had a few make it in and had to be pulled out. wondering how your Scruffy did? any tips on tick prevention?

That’s tricky. We often do a tick check when we get back. There are sprays and pills for dogs. But we don’t do that Alice
