My husband and I sang this in our church choir for many years, but we are old and sick now, but I still try to sing along because I love this hymn and the meaning behind it. Tomorrow is Easter Sunday, and we celebrate the risen Lord. Happy Easter as we celebrate the greatest gift that was ever given to mankind.

Stop and think ... If a fallen, imperfect, sin-stained man like Handel produced magnificent praise to God, what has he -- now fully redeemed and perfected by the work of the Messiah on the cross -- produced in the roughly two centuries he has lived in the presence of our Savior? And can you imagine the majestic works of praise and worship that the other countless talented musicians down through history will create and perform in the next billion years of eternity for the Lord they see face to face in all His glory? Hallelujah and Amen!

Hallelujah Chorus is one of my favourite ! I joined the church choir again this year at the age of 63. I once was a member when I was 15 and keep on singing for 14 years. I would like to sing His wonderful name while I still able to do so. 😍🥰😘😍🥰😘👍👍👍🙏🙏😇❤

@@ancapi145 I fully agree. I joined a church choire as a teenager and later when I moved to the UK in 1994 I joined our little church choire in SUFFOLK. Meanwhile back to Germany I MISS SINGING IN THE CHOIRE SO BADLY. It's wonderful being a member of a choire .❤❤❤❤❤

J'ai traversé un tunnel a une vitesse vertigineuse puis , arrivée au bout de celui-ci, je n'avais plus les sensations d'avoir un corps, plus de douleurs . Sur le côté droit un homme habille de blanc (je dirai une silhouette de lumière non éblouissante ) m'a dit en levant le bras droit que se n'était pas encore mon heure.(sans jugement) .je suis alors retourné dans ce tunnel a une vitesse bien plus lente .tout au long de ma descente j'ai aperçu contre les parois du tunnel des êtres bleutés. Ils chantaient des chants sublimes que je ne puis définir et ne ressemblent pas a ceux d'ici bas . Quand l'un s'arrêtait , l'autre reprenait et cela indéfiniment . J'ai ressenti comme s'ils glorifiant quelqu'un... C'était magnifique et il n'y a pas de mots pour décrire ceci. Tout ceci fut vécu après une syncope conséquente enceinte de 7 mois. Mon fils de 10 ans a mon réveil pleurait dans mon véhicule arrêté sur le bas côté. Il m'avait asperge le corps avec une bouteille d'eau je n'oublierai jamais . C'est pourquoi , vos chants me ramènent à cet instant merveilleux .

Moody Church has a sing-along Messiah every year. I was fortunate enough to be in the audience one year. It was fabulous, I felt like a soprano even though my voice was drowned out. 😊
