Mooer sent me their Prime P! pocket amp box thing to check out and this is my demo! I'm a big fan of this genre of product in general because they allow me to casually jam while siting on the couch while watching my stories on the television. I run through a bunch of the features and show off some sound samples and presets that I like playing around with.

finally, a review that doesn't give a sh*t about the lenght of the review, and focuses on a proper showcase of a BUNCH of settings, and basically playing around with it. If you tought you showed too much to a point where some of the footage seemed useless, im here to tell you that you'd be absolutely wrong to think of it that way! Apreciated the proper time you took with that beast to show off a lot of the noises it can produce!

I agree with Black Diamond Ryan, some of like a long review showing what you can do, I would think most musicians if like me end up play, twiddling, tweaking and drifting off and ending up in another world hours later cos you’ve tweaked various parameters etc and I’ve ended up being absorbed and drifting down a long windy road of tones & effects just enjoying the universe you end up in just trying things out creating nice tones & textures to work with and that time really isn’t important in these moments and the longer the better. Thanks for the review, short and sweet usually misses out so much or doesn’t show a full reflection of possibilities and 95% tend to always focus on Hi-Gain Marshall, Mesa, Hi-Watt, Bognor, Matchless amp tones and hearing heavy rock twiddly scales and rock riffs you hear all the time and for me is just really boring and uncreative hearing the same old rock styles from the 79’s & 80’s! Some of us are players and songwriters with much cleaner tones and are creative in various alternative ways. A bit more length I’d usually better for many in more ways than one mate. Good comprehensive video of the unit. Did not see how you registered it... I bought one and this had bugs getting it registered. There is a code that it is needing and there is no explanation on how to get this code. The registration form allows to register by email and phone... neither works and the phone field has a hard coded 86 which is the China country code. It does not recognize my number. Customer support SUCKS! Let me know how you registered it. I was able to get this to function mostly without registration, however, you cannot access the cloud or Upload functions without registration. Thanks!

Late to this video and have a question: Can you run the guitar setting on two presets and then bass in the third and acoustic on the 4th of do you need to pick which version the prime1 uses? I'm hoping to use this for teach music lessons and it would.be nice to switch from lesson to lesson via the foot switch.

hello everyone, May we use this little guy just as an audio interface instead of Apogee Jam+ and match it with Bias FX2 ? if yes may we have another option to use both devices effects at the same time plus using a different full function switch pedal with extention pedal etc?

Man, I just got the Nux MightyPlug 2 not too long ago, and now I feel like I should have waited. This costs more, but it seems like it's much better in almost every way

NUX has stereo, its more fun with backing track, but Mooer sounds much better with high gain tones, great for metal. I like IRs that are included. Only one thing dissapointed me totally, that P1 is completelly mono

I like the extra functionality that this one (and the Nux Mighty Plug) brings. The Fender Micro Mustang might be built better and maybe not being App reliant is a good thing? Just wow. I'm going to have to buy something. Don't know which one?

@@60CycleHumcast I'll be watching that. Whatever you do, don't upgrade the firmware on the Nux. It will mess things up. I had noise issues and others have had their devices brick. I rolled my firmware back, but if it's bricked, it's essentially trash.

36:22 Isn't that what that little volume mixer screen was for? so that you don't have to do all that extra hassle. Isn't one of those your guitar volume, and one is your bluetooth audio volume? Maybe I misunderstood...

Excatly, the 3rd button on top takes you to a mixer for controlling the instrument, Bluetooth and other input volume independently.

@@JonesHess Yeah that's what I thought. He briefly showed it and even said that's what it was for, so I was confused when he seemed to forget he showed it and said that haha. It's okay, Ryan forgets things but we love him anyway.

I use the Apogee Jam+ because it’s a small interface that records in 24bit, and you can use any amp sims available, including their own software. It’s been my go to for sure. I use it for everything from recording guitar tracks to using it with my iPhone for a practice amp option
